What is the goal for the monsters?

Just wondering. Are the monsters going to be direct spin-offs
from Pokemon or how will the design of the monsters go about?
Looking for submissions, etc...?
What about abilities and powers, just elements?

The monsters will have powers and abilities. About the rest of
that I'm not too sure. QuantumDuck was thinking about using
water, earth, fire, wind elements for "types" and things like
that. But I'm not sure if he has changed his mind.

I'm actually not sure about evolving :P

no no no what i meant is it should be something like that from
first level form to second level form and blue is first then
second is yellow with wiskers :D
