That's the in game menu. He wants the menu at the beginning when
you turn on the game.

explanation;
easter eggs/ secrets: add some ingame secrets and easter eggs,
everyboddy would like that and if you write the code you found
in the secret(puzzle?) you can get extra xp
Help: all information about every character

I like the easter eggs, maybe you can put that in an update
I think the menu should just be simple, background pic with a
monster and then the options
New Game
Load Game
Help
Options

Obviously it would need a start or new game. Will it be auto
save and will there be more than one slot to save game play?
Because if there isn't, then you just need "New Game and
Continue".
Then options if there are any, such as music and maybe the
choice of joystick or D-Pad anything that is relative to the
entire game and game play.
Then maybe a help or tutorial.
Other options would depend if it's multilayer or not and it
doesn't seem like it will be at first.
So my opinion is the simplest form.
- Start/Newgame
- Continue
- Options
- Help

I think easter eggs are a good idea! I think they should be like
a special area that you get/find within one of the islands, or
just make it a whole island and only let them enter it if they
do something, like beat all of the bosses, buy the code, or like
find the entrance to it from another island or something. Maybe
even a special monster that you unlock when you find it.
