       PSS Features

       Like all games since Pok�mon Gold & Silver, you get given a
       device which allows for you to access a variety of features both
       in-game and outside it. In Pok�mon X & Y, these features are
       implemented within the Player Search System and stay on the
       bottom screen during your play. This page is to detail all the
       features of the PSS
       Battle: The first feature you'll find in the PSS allows for you
       to quite simply battle with someone locally or over the Internet
       without the need to go to the Pok�mon Centres across Kalos.
       Current details for this battle system, such as rulesets, are
       not currently known.
       - Battle Spot: The Battle Spot works in a similar manner to the
       Random Matchup feature of Pok�mon Black & White. Here, you'll be
       able to battle with random people within two modes: Free Battles
       and Ranked Battles. Ranked Battles allow for you to accumulate a
       score that is then posted to your profile on the Pok�mon Global
       Link.
       A new feature added to this, is the inclusion of penalties for
       disconnecting. If you disconnect now from battle, you will have
       a loss recorded.
       Trade: The second feature runs akin to the previous one, and
       allows for you to trade with someone locally or over the
       Internet, again without the need to go to the Pok�mon Centres
       across Kalos. It is not known if there are any restrictions on
       this such as preventing trade of Pok�mon knowing Hidden Moves.
       - Wonder Trade: The Wonder Trade feature works similar to the
       Battle Spot in that you will be connected to a random trainer
       around the world. However, with this trade, while you can select
       whichever Pok�mon you wish, you will not know what Pok�mon you
       receive in the trade until the trade is in progress.
       - GTS: The PSS also gives you access to the Global Trade Station
       without the need to go to the Pok�mon Center. Like before, you
       can put in any Pok�mon of yours for trade with another Pok�mon.
       However, unlike the past generations, in Pok�mon X & Y, you can
       search for Pok�mon you have not seen in your Pok�dex yet,
       allowing for full Global Trading
       Shout Out: The Shout Out feature allows for you to send messages
       out to everyone on your friend list, and who you're connected to
       locally. Unlike previous games, the messages you can send are
       entirely created by you, utilising the touchscreen as a
       keyboard.
       Holy Caster: The Holo Caster has several interconnected
       features. First, it will be used to provide various Pok�mon
       related news from the Pok�mon Global Link. Second, you'll be
       able to use the Holo Caster to communicate with various
       characters within the Kalos region, in a similar manner to the
       Xtransceiver in Pok�mon Black 2 & White 2.
       O-Powers: O-Powers are a new feature that work similarly to Pass
       Powers, but also have a more ranged effect. Several O-Powers
       will allow for you to increase stats within battle, while others
       will help you gain more experience or make your captures more
       likely. Like in Pok�mon Black & White, you have the ability to
       share your O-Powers with your friends, but this can now be done
       over the internet.
       Friends: Using the PSS, you'll have full access to your entire
       friend list, being able to see who is online and what they are
       doing in real-time. You will also see details of all local
       players and be able to challenge them at will
