       Official Pokemon Bank Details.

       The second Pok�mon Direct has revealed a new feature called
       Pok�mon Bank, a new feature downloadable only on Nintendo
       3DS-family devices. This software will allow the user to deposit
       their Pok�mon directly onto a special Cloud server. Pok�mon Bank
       will hold up to 3000 Pok�mon and can be accessed at any time as
       long the user is connected to the internet.
       Pok�mon Bank is tied to the 3DS system rather than a specific
       game, which hints at allowing a person an easier time of
       transferring Pok�mon from one version to the other. In addition,
       Pok�mon Bank has a variety of search functions.
       Pok�mon Bank is a paid service, with an annual fee for usage;
       however, the amount of this fee has not yet been announced.
       Nintendo justifies the subscription as paying for the
       maintenance cost and continuing to offer the service for future
       Pok�mon titles. There will be a free trial period for a short
       time after the launch of the Bank to allow users a chance to
       test out the software before committing.
       Pok�mon Bank will also allow users to transfer Pok�mon from
       Pok�mon Black or White and Black 2 or White 2 to their Pokemon X
       or Y games using a feature called Pok� Transporter. This is
       bundled with the Pok�mon Bank and allows for a user to insert a
       Black or White or a Black 2 or White 2 cartridge and be able to
       upload their Pok�mon from those games onto the Pok�mon Bank for
       easy transfer to Pok�mon X and Y. The Pok� Transporter cannot
       return Pok�mon to Pok�mon Black or White, or to Pok�mon Black 2
       or White 2 after they have been stored in an online Box.
       In a recent effort to continue down playing the use of illegal
       Pok�mon in tournaments, the Pok�mon Bank and Transporter will
       block illegally obtained Pok�mon from being uploaded to the Bank
       or to move those Pok�mon between Boxes.
