       Hello Terven! Sandra here.

       I’m Sandra aka [member=14]fraufantastic[/member].
I can’t really remember what peaked me, I think it was gradual
       over the last year.
I live in the countryside near Droitwich. Never moving back to
       the bright lights!
This group is amazing and I’m lucky to be getting to know you
all. When I found out how bad it was getting for women and
children, it felt quite lonely and worrying. Now I can see light
at the end of the tunnel and it doesn’t look like an oncoming
       train.
I also fight for the animals. I went veggie as a teenager and
vegan in middle age. I talk about it with people who are
interested because preachy vegans are boring.
I’m also slowly getting my head around perimenopause. Only just
realising the symptoms all make sense now!
I chose not to have children and have always looked after
       animals when I could.
I live with my boyfriend of 12 years and my rescue dog.
       I’m also the B in LGB and I loathe the word ‘q***r’, it’s a
       slur.
My work is as a speech and language therapist supporting adults
with acquired communication and swallow difficulties. I run my
own company. I’m really worried about how captured my Royal
College is and their support of ‘preferred pronouns’ without
considering how this affects our patients with disabilities
amongst other concerns. I don’t know any other speech therapists
who feel this way (apart from Exulansic!) and a retired
       colleague.
I look forward to finding out more about you all and hopefully
       meeting in person sometime!
       Sandra x
