Title:None,Content:MODIFIERS
A modifier is a word or phrase added to another word or phrase
in order to give it a clearer picture of the word .Modifiers are
usually adjectives and adverbs.
Adjectives are words that are used to modify a noun in a
sentence.Example: She served us FROZEN chicken.
On the otherhand,an adverb is used to modify a verb or another
adverb in a sentence.
Example: she REGULARLY pays us a visit.
You must have observed from the above that the use of modifiers
greatly enrich your work, if you make good use of
them.Adjectives as modifiers tell us more about colour,
smell, taste, sight, size, touch, feelings, etc. Adverbs on the
other hand tell us more about the verbs as they are used to
modify verbs in a sentence. When doing this, the adverb as a
modifier state the time,place, manner,reason,
condition, rate, etc. It can therefore be said that modifiers are
usually adjectives or adverbs that are used to give a clearer
picture of a word.Examples the TALLEST boy in my class is John
