       Mother of Rivers: O'Doyle
By: insert name Date: February 8, 2018, 10:02 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
In Cambodia the Mekong has gathered up the rivers of all the
region, and they flow along flat ground into marshes and deltas
whose currents alter on the slightest whim of the landscape. Or,
       these days, of Tiffany Kells.
No matter how vast and powerful the metahumans get, the boffins
always manage to find a way to boil it down to logistics.
Of course, the camp is protected by a crystal clear dome of
condensed water. Enough to stop or slow most incoming assaults,
and force any charge through a difficult swim. The camp is
bathed in light and shadows like the ocean floor. Tiffany is not
in the camp when Michael arrives, however. She's out in the
Mekong swimming with honest to God dolphins.
Somehow, impossibly, she looks better than Michael remembers
her. She's just wearing a well worn uniform, soaked through with
water that's hardly clean, and she's stained with mud, but
somehow she just looks incredible all the same. There's
something different about her appearance, though. Something
softer and gentler. Her figure seems just a little plumper. A
       little... motherly.
The dolphins' calls sound a lot like turkeys, and Tiffany's
       laughter sounds like an angel.

Befor Tiffany arrives Mike takes a quick inventory of the the
       camp.
Mike’s eyes trace over her fingers looking for rings.
Ooc: need the information befor I go further.

She does not appear to have any new jewelry.
The camp, for its part, looks to be a fair number of marked
medical tents and trucks, along with a small number of soldiers.
Only a few seem to actually be on any sort of duty, and the rest
are milling about amiably enough. O'Doyle counts six metahumans.

Mike slowly (for him) flys low over the river taking a deep
breath phases back in to reality. With a grace that would make
an Olympian green with envy tucked in to a shallow dive allowing
his momentum to take him ahead of Tiffany and the pod.

The dolphins leap and bound and warble shrilly in surprise at
the new addition. In the confusion, Tiffany lifts herself up on
a pillar of water, covering herself in a bubble. A moment later
the bubble flows back into the river.
"Jesus, Mike," she says, "Do you ever just say hi anymore?"

“Mike, being underwater and not clearly hearing her smiled up at
her and waved. A few powerful strokes later he breached the
surface, “Goodday,” a short pause “and might I add you are
looking as lovely as all ways.”
