LBJ Talks Honest: Dr. Hertz

Okay, so let's be blunt, this is LBJ's last ditch effort to get
Hertz back on his side. As such, he's not pulling punches like
he has been. He is going to hammer 10HD of Charm down
repeatedly.
But, for the sake of slight abstraction and fairness, here's how
we'll handle it:
LBJ is going to hit Dr. Hertz with full tilt 10HD Charm 7 times,
one for each Loyalty+Passion, and once more to convince Hertz to
make a thing for him (we'll get to that). Each time Dr. Hertz
can roll defense (good luck, since you need width higher to
start Gobbling), spend WP or BW to make up the difference. Every
failure (or one you chose to skip) converts that motivation to
something LBJ chooses (and, let's be direct, he mostly wants to
turn all your Loyalties to him, your Passions may be more
complicated). Of course, a clever solution might also work
(like, say, running away... just watch out for the fallout of
that).
I'm front loading all this so we can have it done by session
start.
That said, there is some roleplaying here I want to get in as
well.

The president arrives with surprisingly little fanfare. He meets
Hertz in his office.
"I guess the cat clawed through the bag," the man says. He looks
tired. He looks old. He hasn't looked that way since the
Progenitor arrived in his life. He keeps a distance from Hertz
at first. "You knew, I'm sure. It's why you kept running off to
see that good for nothin' cunt Hoffman." He shakes his head.
"That boy has no idea what he's been given, what we've been
trying to give him. Civil rights and education are only the
beginning. There's health care and retirement plans, and so much
more. That big ol' tree of yours, for instance. That thing's
going to change the world! Every little whine and sniffle these
young bastards have is right there, right in front of us! But
they don't even realize they're standing in the way. Ungrateful
children, the lot of them." His gaze is distant.
"You still believe in it, Wally? The world we talked about?"
