Taking the Bus!

Metropolis was know for its massive transportation vehicles and
the bus is the most used type of transportation. The bus is so
over used that waiting for one to show up is considered a chore.
Wada-Don had to use the bus to reach his Taiko Drum School for
novices. Even Drums have to commute too you know. "Another Day,
another nickel ta-don." Don said while lazily leaning on the Bus
stop. Don looked at the Bus schedule attached to the Bus Stop
and his ride to work would take a while to reach this particular
spot. "Oh boy Ta-don, I miss the good ol days when my job was
closer to home Ta-don" Don said with a sigh. As least it was
quiet while Don waited, but who knows how long that's going to
last.

There was an unceremonious thud as something crashed into the
ground behind the bus stop. Ledah didn't really even make the
effort to get up after his crash landing, preferring to stay
flat on the ground. The sound of his gasps for breath soon
filled the air as the Grim Angel tried to recover from an
excruciatingly long flight. Eventually he composed himself
enough to pull his drenched form up, staying on his knees
briefly before staggering to his feet. The angel's wings
remained limp as he hobbled over to the nearby bench, quickly
eying the animate set of drums before gently seating himself
with a loud sigh of relief.

[glow=red,2,300]amy huffed and leaned against the bus stop, she
had run all the way here, so naturally, she was out of breath.
she noticed a small taiko drum inspecting the bus schedule and a
blonde angel who, like her, seemed out of breath resting on the
seat. she sighed softly before plonking down on the seat and
smoothing out her dress. she clicked the heels of her go-go
boots together before speaking. 'so, uh, where are you guys
going?' she asked awkwardly as she stared at her gloves which
were neatly set on her lap. [/glow]
asdfg I wanted to do this rp as sonic but I couldn't think of a
good enough reason for him to be using the bus. ;w;

Don had eyed the mysterious blonde winged man as he sat on the
bus stop bench for a rest. "I guess Flying isn't easy Ta-don"
thought Don. Suddenly:
'so, uh, where are you guys going?'
"Gah-Ah!" Don said in shock for Don was focused on the man that
he did not noticed the pink hedgehog approach from his blind
side. "I am going to the Taiko Drum School far past this
district Ta-don!" Don said while returning to normal from his
shocked state. The Taiko Drum looked both ways and saw no buses
headed toward this stop. This caused Don to sulk and question if
a bus was even coming. "I might as well converse with the people
waiting with me to pass the time Ta-don" thought Don. "So, Nice
weather we are having Ta-don. how is everyone on this fine day
Ta-don?" asked Don as he grabbed his bag and joined the two on
the bench.

To this, Ledah opened one eye and glanced at the taiko drum,
shaking his head lazily. "No." He breathed out. Normally
flying long distances never really bothered Ledah, but ever
since coming to his city he found his usual strength gradually
leaving him. Hearing the panting of another, the crimson angel
turned his head to see a pink anthromorph similarly exhausted
from a long run. Again he let his head back, his breathing
gradually coming under his control.
[glow=red,2,300]'so, uh, where are you guys going?'[/glow]
Ledah didn't immediately answer, letting the Taiko Drum speak
first. The absurdity of that thought made him chuckle lightly
before he answered the question himself. "Home, midtown." With
that, he pulled himself into an upright position, using his
lance as support.
"So, Nice weather we are having Ta-don. how is everyone on this
fine day Ta-don?"
"I've been better. I just need to get home and have a thorough
rest before I can consider doing anything else today," Another
weary sigh escaped his lips as he pressed his face against his
oddly shaped weapon, the lance emitting a dim red glow along
with a small amount of heat. Ledah hoped this would help relax
his weary body as he pulled his wings to his body in an effort
to make more room for his fellow commuters.

((I can not find a reason from Xion to take the bus sense she
has portals, so time to throw Lucina in!))
Lucina was walking up to the bus stop and saw an interesting set
of people also here waiting for this bus. She shrugged and
looked at the schedule with the moving drum set. Moving drums?
This town sure is interesting that's for sure! She thought in
her head and crossed her arms as she leaned against the side of
the bus stop, not one for small talk all that much. This is one
of the moments where I wish I could just ride my horse to where
I'm going.

[glow=red,2,300]amy hadn't really taken much notice to the
weather since she ran here. But, she had to admit, it was quite
a beautiful day. Perfect for her cause. "I'm great! excited
even! you see, i'm heading home to visit a friend of mine, so
i'm very happy!" Amy beamed, swinging her shoes back and forth
happily. [/glow]

The Taiko Drum was intrigued by the people that joined him for
the bus ride to his destination. suddenly a new face appeared to
Don and the others as they conversed. "Eh? a Knight? in a city
such as this?" Don questioned in his head. Don Approached the
knight and asked her with child like optimism, "So cool! are you
really a knight Ta-don? where are you off to Ta-don?" Don have
seen knights like the one before him in the comics the Wada's
stash in their house and how the deeds they do are like super
heroes. But what was one doing in a place like metropolis? Don
had to know!

Ledah let out a low chuckle at the Taiko drum's reaction to the
new arrival. "You barely bat an eye at a Grim Angel, but a
knight?" He let a small smile creep across his face as his
weapon continued to warm him. Flying in higher altitudes had
made the angel quite cold and only now that he wasn't totally
exhausted was he beginning to shiver. He was tempted to turn
the heat up a bit more but he let his concern for his fellow
travelers prevent him from doing so.

Ta-don?"
Lucina was staring up at the sky and clouds when she heard the
drums address her. She looked down at them with a slight smile
on her face. "I am indeed a knight. Well I'm heading to the
market actually. And where would you be heading to?" She asked
Wada-Don.
"You barely bat an eye at a Grim Angel, but a knight?"
Lucina couldn't help but chuckle a little. "I seem to have that
affect quite a bit." She looked at Ledah. "If you don't mind me
asking what is a Grim Angel?" She asked hoping he had nothing to
do with that blasted dragon.
