Pandemic Pandemonium

Is this interesting or what? Amazing how one small event, a
microbe mutating and jumping hosts (basic assumption of
inception) can literally bring the world (Maya) to a standstill,
a fairly epic way to force everyone to stop their current mind
distraction in it's tracks and forcing a take stock moment of
simple survival and beyond even that maybe; for what purpose?
At the same time we see an organism on this planet that has
outstripped it's natural predators for tens of thousands of
years now and for it's own survival, is in desperate need of a
predation cleanse. The young and older, infirm organisms are by
far the predator's go to (but not me and my parents please!) and
here we see nature just doing her thing.
Look at all the terror out there of death! To say what I've just
said is political suicide, not to mention probable social
ostracism if not being labeled a Nazi. I'm not out there shaking
hands trying to off myself and others, I'm social distancing and
all that but I'm ok if this thing takes me out, part of the
"dying before you die" bit, can you imagine how much different
this whole experience would be if most had already died and been
reborn unafraid of death?
Quite a spectacle regardless, I'm sure the Jed of the books has
plenty of "Something Big" to entertain him in his TV watching.
;)

Hey brother, splendid isolation to me here is just working from
home - and plenty of it, as I’m on a project that is suffering
in no way because of this thing... unless the corporate beast
feeding it runs out of revenue before it’s delivered in June...
a possibility.
Glad to see some activity here [emoji122][emoji4]

Love that you aren't hampered! For me this just feels like the
reason I moved here in the first place, to isolate and be more
creative in my work so it's a godsend to not have to open the
Gallery to the public! I love these shuttered windows and doors
:) not so for many losing their jobs tho, pretty frightening
for many, I've got three guys working for me on rental property
renovation that are terrified I will need to lay them off,
consequently I'm really trying to keep them going if even at
reduced hours.
Hope all is well Ray (are you fully quarantined?), Justin
(Wyoming is like Utah, pretty spread out, we be aight! ;D) et
al.

Guess I didn't realize how fearful people were. Other than that
i hadn't given the episode much attention.

I’ve been having a splendid isolation, apart from very sadly
losing my big sister to cancer in early April just days after
she became a grandma - and being unable to attend her funeral
because of the virus... but I did fly over to Wagga Wagga to
visit with her just before the lockdown, which was awesome.
In late April I quit my project job because I’d been hating it -
but also because I realised I’ve the perfect setup to finish the
studies I began in January full time, in Counselling... because
of the virus but also because I’ve a full time job as a BA that
I don’t have to be back at till January 2021.
Studies have been great, as has spending more time with the
family. Also started reading ACIM and some UGK again... Justin’s
post in Voidworx thread could not have been more
timely...brother I thank you for it.
And it’s made me think even more deeply about what it is I
believe I’m doing... a lot of which is tied up in the word
“belief”, which has been popping up like a meme for me lately,
but not so mysterious given what I’m reading.
Glad to hear from you both - the fact that this place exists and
we pop back in to touch base with our HONESTY - even tinged with
guilt or cynicism - makes it special to me.
Me glad

Glad to hear that you are well and progressing.
Reality is quite the mess. Sad for so many!
