Hey guys! In a little under 2 hours I'll be chatting live to air
with Sklato himself, in an episode of my weekly radio show I'm
calling, "A Show About Nothing" (an homage to Seinfeld,
obviously!) You can catch us live
HTML http://radiofremantle.com/index.html
or for up to a week in the
Tuesday night archives (the show is called "Edge of The
Abyss"...naturally!) ;D
I hope you can join us!

Well that was fun, thanks for inviting me on the show Mr.
Bazeley, not enough time to settle in on such broad ranging
topics (Nothing sure has a lot of something swirling around it's
event horizon). Enjoyed you and the show immensely! Good luck
with it!

Hey Steve, it was a blast! Much more agile way to discuss than
by writing it down - a really interesting contrast and, as I
mentioned, you are very welcome to come back on the air and
continue the conversation.

HTML http://203.59.4.85:8001//shows_this_week/tue-22_00.mp3 for the
show that aired...I've not heard it back yet and should be able
to engineer out some of those leveling issues that the desk was
indicating.
...so who's next...? ;D
[EDIT] Just finished listening back - and I love it! Thanks
again, man!

I'm game, honestly nothing I'd rather explore than these themes
and so great wandering through them with you Bii you're an
amazing host and I'll be gleaning what I can from you if this
little podcast I'm exploring works out.
Feels like there are about a hundred hours that could be
unpacked from just the themes we touched on, probably the only
frustrating part was not having more time to explore each area a
little more in depth.
Anywho, if you need s guest at a moments notice I'm always
available, that was a blast, in the mean time get one of these
other Kave dwellers on there!

You touched briefly on what you guys are doing now. Steve doing
affirmations to improve his interactions and Mike doing the work
of Jordan Peterson.
I'm just curious why when I bring up self improvement of any
sort its shot down? Is there any reason for this in particular?
I mean you need a sense of self to navigate here and after you
wake up from the self you thought you were I cant see any reason
not to re engage with an improved/improving version.
I wouldnt expect you to address this so much as just pointing
out the hypocrisy and tenacity of the ego. Albeit the spiritual
version. Rather than claiming no self youd best get to work on
improving it.

It's a good point, I can only go on feel, you've argued against
the need to drop into nothingness over and over, this tells me
you have not moved that direction yet and probably have no need
to. Chopping wood and carrying water happens on both sides of
the divide, all your expression point to the fact that you are
on the "Adult" side of that divide and not the Nothingness side
or T/R.
Jed made it very clear that a jerk is still a jerk whether T?R'd
or not. It's not a big deal, really not a deal at all, just a
changing of the guard, as in, the mind that was guarding the
shop is no longer needed, was a figment of the imagination after
all. There is no judgement one way or the other and like Jed
said "who would ever want this anyway?" it's pretty boring
overall really.
So, yes, still chopping wood and carrying water, just like you,
without any of the attendant crap I carried around for the last
50 years, thats the difference from here, I have no idea whats
going on over there except for how you express it and it doesn't
seem to be the same, thats all.
The fact that you don't seem to understand the concept of "no
self" is also a dead giveaway.

Because the concept of no self is apparently a lie and probably
why your self hasn't improved from the need to just "right" and
resorts to twisting words to cover its hypocrisy.

I'm authentic and in that process I live and learn having no
choice but to improve through my hard fought lessons. Luck is
reserved for those who cant be counted on themselves and run
from their issues rather than addressing them.
