       <popcorn munching ceases, jaw drops>
[quote: j(]It seems, an entire "spiritual journey" has occurred
       within your absence[/quote]
hmmm... an entire journey signifies an end and I'm still here so
it must be your journey, J-dog.
Is that what you're writing about...?
Is that why you're ...masturbating like that on your keyboard
there...? To demonstrate completion of some kind of journey...?
... and a 'spiritual' journey at that...?
       Surely you're kidding, right?
You read like a junkie, Justin, a pasty, white guy, still
crashing in his worried parent's basement, who's done some rehab
but still has his dealer on speed dial "because we're friends"
and who likes to sneak the odd pipe. "It won't hurt'", he says,
giggling as he smugly tells himself that nobody could possibly
       tell he's lapsing... and falling.
Truly understanding the utter absence of inherent meaning in
anything robs your writing of any irony you may have thought it
contained, any pearlacious wisdom - or any humour.
So either you don't have it or you don't get it.
The scintillating personality on display in the posts I just
read …IMHO… seems excellent example of precisely the egoic
encrustation that precludes a mind from being a conduit into
this benighted world of awakened consciousness. The tap is
turned off. The all-encompassing subjectivity seemingly claimed
as the get-out-of-jail-free for assuming the role of
mysogenistic asshole reads like an arch-villain over-explaining
why he's going to kill Batman.
Words and deeds may be meaningless in the cold vacuum of
enlightened space, but in the context of the human world where,
incidentally, this thread is weaving its golden path, the
synchronicity of word with deed is actually a well-accepted
measure of a human. It's the very yardstick of meaning here, in
       terms of human integrity.
And, in case you've been asleep, this world suffers a distinct
dearth of integrity, not sociopathy, psychopathy …or plain old
       apathy, masquerading as enlightened detachment.
Anybody can say or write anything. That's the easiest part and
you've made it look easy indeed - almost as easy as just being…a
       potato.
You too-cool-for-school? Don't wanna play human anymore? Well,
you're awakened now, so saraba, J-kun! Godspeed!
…and if it's true, then why hang around pretending to still be a
caterpillar - and a cartoon caterpillar at that? Do you really
       wanna be "that butterfly", dude…?
Yes, care factor >0 here. Mission, opinions expressed = mine
alone… of course, you'll notice I never asked for your help
either, sparky. So all those fucks you so publicly don’t give
about my purpose are warmly not received, with my gratitude.
What he wrote is the high water mark of awesome, so naturally I
want to believe that Jed's a good guy as well and am taking even
the suggestion of serious impropriety about the mansuit rather
hard… the cognitive dissonance here is palpable (but cleansing,
also noted. I've obviously got his hooks in me and didn't really
       know it till now).
…And in my upset state I must be mistaken about the apparent
intentions behind what you wrote, J( - and my idealistic
opinions are so much shit besides anyway… so will reluctantly
admit to just not having a clue what you're prattling about,
mate… although will confess to not liking it one bit
       nonetheless.
It just reads 'wrong', but I guess you're too busy enjoying
Walt's World and the broadband poontang to care.

Gawd I feel like a fan boy reading both of your posts, such
poetry encased in pretend vitriol, I love it! Great to have the
band back together for a reunion :D
I don't know, I had just basically decided Justin had dropped
into a version of hedonism and nihilism when he semi-quit
playing here, it seems to work for him, who am I to... It didn't
really resonate with my experience so I chalked it up to
inexperience, his. For Christ sakes, I was just barely opening
my eyes to the fact that I was a robot at his age, he's way
ahead of me on that scale and how else is an awakening kid
supposed to act except to scream "I'm awake!".
I remember quite well thinking I had it all going on back then,
life has a way of finding the blind spots and jamming a fvcking
spike into your "beingness", dropping even a carefree
       hedonist/nihilist into the mud.
Enough of those in one lifetime and my experience is you walk
into a river with a large stone or find the other side of this
BS that only a few (like Jed) speak of, there's no other reason
to come here, curiosity ain't gonna cut it, there needs to be a
lot of fuel for lift off and that fuel is existential pain,
       wherever it comes from.

Lol you cannot sense me Nessa. Trace that shit back to its

I actively pick my shades and quite frankly, yours and the rest

perceptions/opinions for what they are. A choice. Not a

Yeah. Maybe. Nothing's by chance and there are no loose
ends...like a cucumber suddenly spouting Shakespeare, why not,

Granted B, >99% are slumming, doing any damn thing they can to
stave off the existential angst, why be one of them? Like
Trinity said "You've been down that path Neo, you know where it
leads" When she was trying to entice him to The Real. Why double
down on sh!t when you've tasted something better, it's not
fantasy, so far I am 2 years in and it doesn't dissipate like
the airy fairy Unity Consciousness moments do, this is IT.
I've seen both sides and I'm not currently in Walt's castle on
the hill, I deal with grubby MFer's every day (well, some days)
and I love them more than ever! Have more to give than ever
before and if I want none of it I have that too. It shows, the
feedback is nothing short of miraculous when compared with
results I'd garnered in the previous existence not to mention
the abiding joy of just being I feel continually.
Keep your Kafka, Huxley and every other lost disgruntled
writer/poet/philosopher, they don't know this even exists, if
they did they'd be singing a different tune.

       B,
I know that this place can look a certain way and my post
earlier goes without saying, can only be my own reflection. Took
for granted that was an understood. But..
       You asked why I'm here
       (the kave).
I don't talk about this stuff to anyone. There are very few
voices that I even entertain. There have been some tremendous
moments for me, here, in which Steve or Nessa had thrown a right
hook I didn't see coming (neither did they) and dropped my sorry
ass on the spot. I really have no idea how my expressions are
received because from here they are flawless. I just stay true
to self, focus on my side of the street. That's where the real
work gets done. Because the “problem” if there is one, is never
       over there.
It's unfortunate if I appear to be unsightly to you guys
precisely because it is the exact opposite here. I have a huge
amount of love and respect for you all no matter how much a
brash prick I may seem to be from your seat. I'll never know.
But at the end of the day I've grown here, with these guys help
and I'm indebted in a way but ultimately I've discovered it's
all a hologram with no substance and Im no longer bumping into
much so my involvement is waning.
This world for the most part slips through my fingers and it is
night and day difference from the scared little shit that I was
to the whatever this is now but it's not reactive, it doesn't
believe every little thing. It's not fighting to line up
circumstances and make them what I think they should be. It's
eazy and natural and no longer feels like work, a grind,
       survival. It's being - and it's easy.
I never had to kill the Buddha. Just had to let him die.
       :-*
