I am in grave necessity of your complete assistance

Yeah, whatever that above means..
When I play Gmod, the game sometimes lays down automaticly, then
automaticly opens again. The screen is black for a while before
I'm back into the game, but then the screen is stuck as black.
It's been like this for ages. I've reinstalled Gmod, reinstalled
steam, I've even reinstalled my computer, and it still keeps
happening. It ends with me having to CTRL+ALT+DELETE and delete
HL2.exe, then start Gmod and join the server over again, which
takes a while. I've lived with it for a long time as it usually
happens once or twice a day, but now it happened three times in
a row this evening. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas how to
fix it? Would be appreciated.

You could try updating video drivers, that's usually the problem
when it comes to black screen shiz, but then again, im no
computer expert so a quick search of your problem revealed that
you should try to verify the video driver cache or something
like that ;D

All I could say would be either the video card drivers or the
hardware in general.
No idea since I never had it.

You could try to find out what your video card is using this, I
use it, and it works great:
HTML http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/
Then, type the manufacturer (ATI or nVidia) into google and see
if there's any.

Go to the website that makes your video card, and then check for
updates :)

Well, I don't think that it's the screen there's a problem with,
I think it's the computer itself. It just won't show Gmod after
opening it again, as I explained.

Skaara Video drivers are a part of your computer.
In-fact, if you didn't have them you'd be viewing your desktop
in a 10x10 resolution.

Great news, everyone!
Skaara has finally put some effort into his life by trying to
update the graphics card! So, now I'll just have to play Gmod
and wait and see ;)
