Back Into The Happy Planner!

I thought I would start a blog section of the site/forum so that
I could share with everyone, member or not, some bits and pieces
that I won't have on Instagram or Facebook. This will be great
for those that want to see more details in my art or planners.
I'll also include links where I can to where you can get some of
the accessories and stuff that I use.

So, here it is. I couldn't help it. I think about it all
the time. I go in my room and flip through the pages of old,
filled planners, the undated planner... I have been wanting to
return to the Happy Planner, but had so much else to use and to
try to justify it in my head.
I have my traveler's notebooks, and they're great. But not
super great for planning, or at least not for me. They're, or at
least mine, are super full and like mini mazes. If you handed
one to a regular person, I don't think they'd be able to
navigate through it. I need something quicker, that involves
less pieces, and easy. My TN's now hold everything they used to,
just minus any planner type inserts.
I love my Recollections planner, and thought about going
back in. But after flipping through, and having the covers pop
off when I closed it, reminded me how frustrating using that
planner was. That was it. I needed to head back into the Happy
Planner.
With the HP I was always able to be free, but still have
structure to keep things organized. It's nice to have large
space to work in, to be able to take pages out and put them back
in somewhere else. It's just something I found great pleasure in
using the year I first I received it from a fabulous subbie,
Maria, and I want to find that again.
I had so many amazing pages in the past. I kept track of my
wedding planning, and it's so nice to look back at. I used to
add personal photos, and monthly memes. It's great to flip back
through, and I want that again.
So here are some shots of my beautiful Happy Planner. She
has a 6 month extension pack in that I love because the end
pages have great prompts for the upcoming month.

I want to take some better quality pictures once I get more
settled in, but this is my Happy Planner. The laminated cover is
from Happy Planning Shoppe

She always has
the prettiest patterned paper for covers. They are also well
made and hold up really well. I've tried other shops, but hers
are the best look and quality especially for the price.

I also love Happy Planner stickers. These books are amazing
but so expensive. I usually wait until they have 50% off or more
on them at Micheal's.

And here is my first 1/2 week! I pulled a week from the
back (I hope to get an entire new planner when I get the extra
money so I won't miss it) to use for the remainder of February.
There's no way I could wait for a new month, so I just tried to
work with it.
I am already so happy to be back in the Happy Planner. The
name definitely rings true to me, and I can't wait to check out
all the new accessories that MAMBI has come out with since I
left the HP community (I've heard some talk of their metal
discs!)

The HP was the first planner I ever used. I had the vertical box
layouts which wasn't a lot of room. I was going to re-purpose my
2017 for 2018 but decided to make my own planner from scratch. I
love the results so for.

I haven't started using a planner yet but I know that with my 5
year old starting school in the fall I will need to get one so
that I can keep up with everything. I have seen a lot of
planners so far and I am thinking the Happy Planner might be the
way to go for me. I like large boxes to write in, my eyes aren't
young anymore lol. Will definitely have to look into getting one
that I will love. Guess it's time to start browsing for one!

YAY! So Happy for you (lol no pun intended) that you're back in
the Happy Planner! The Happy Planner is amazing, I had this
planner last year and loved it! This year I'm using the
Recollections Creative Year planner; however, I'm considering
getting the fitness happy planner and a mini happy planner to
use this year as well. I just love how I can take the pages in
and out of the planner and add things to it. That's one thing I
really did enjoy, I was able to add in plans I had for my
classes or books I'm working on writing, I could journal about
and plan all that stuff out on the Happy Planner paper and add
it into a new section of my planner. Where with the Erin Condren
or Recollections, I can't do that.
I always love your planning videos and I can't wait to see plan
with me's and/or pics of your spreads here!

I started with a Recollections because of the price and I also
thought I'd hate the rings...but...I now have a frankenplanned
HP Trendsetter and I love it! I also have a mini HP..along with
a mini recollections and a horizontal one I use for a daily
journal. I may or may not have a couple of other ones I'm saving
for next year c:

That's awesome! What all do you use your planners for? I have my
recollections creative year planner for at home use, I leave it
on my desk and I also have an academic planner that I carry in
my purse. I also have an Author Life planner for planning my
books and keeping tabs on editing assignments. I'm wanting to
get the happy planner fitness one. But I'm always curious what
others use their multiple planners for?

Love this!! Cant wait to watch video this weekend...
Anyway... While I dont have a Happy Planner, I do have a planner
that has the very same layout for this year. I was given to
me... I never though I would like the layout... turns out I love
it!! I will be saving up toget a Happy Planner for 2019 :)

I use mostly the trendsetter now for basic everyday and social
media planning. I use my HP mini for the same and as a portable
one. My Recollections horizontal is used now for a daily
journal.
