       The Night
       Written on October 21st, 2012
       As the night flies by my window pane
       I often wonder, am I insane?
       I sit and wait for life's little pleasure's to arrive
       They never come, that's no surprise
       I wait for the night to send a dream through my blinds
       I sit and watch life past me from the sidelines
       Everyday it gets a little harder to suffice
       And then, another night goes by
       I love the night and all that it brings
       I love the moon and the stars, and all life's little night time
       blessings
       I sit and wonder, what makes the night time so appealing
       I can go to sleep and dream another dream of everlasting
       Night time is the right time for making love
       I dream of a lover from above
       As I reach for my dream lover as he approaches
       In my dream, I tell him he is Beautiful and then he blushes
       Ah the night time can be many things
       I sit and wonder as I sing
       What will the daylight bring
       Till then, the night time is my calling
