Apple Trees and Axes

I am a 15 year old apple tree
With many great apples that others enjoy
But I think they are rather rotten
The trees around me
They get my bad vibes
Which is one of many rotten apples
Because I hate it when the ones I am fond of are hurt
And I focus more on helping their pain
Rather than mine.
I am a 15 year old rotten apple tree
All the others push me away
and leave me to die
How can you keep your roors strong if everyone around you wants
to bury you beneath them?
Someday that day will come.
But for now, I am breaking.
Dying.
I am a 15 year old fragile, vunerable apple tree.
Confused with its feelings.
My branches are tangled with bad emotions
That get tangled too easily
That I have trouble untangling.
Half of the ones in my life are axe men
Leaving permanent scars
On my trunk and inside
They tear at my good apples
Making them rotten
And do not hurt the trees around me
Soon I will fall.
But I will fall losing a tough battle
Between me and my emotions
Life and death
And maybe
Just maybe
They will see how broken I was.

Arts.
