       8 players were banned for violating section 4 of the Pirates
       Code of Conduct: Intentionally using bugs or exploits to gain
       advantage over others and not reporting via !Pirates Bug -

       These players exploited a skill progression bug for weeks if not
       months.
       The bug was: the ability to progress with "!P SKILL ANSWER" when
       these skill were only supposed to allow progress by performing
       certain commands. Those skills are:

       [li]Fishing - progression thru !P FISH or !P CRAB[/li]
       [li]Thievery - progression thru !P ROB or !P SNATCH[/li]

       There were some bugs with !P SKILL LEARN: same question
       repeatedly, questions without a clear answer, etc. This was
       taken into consideration before implementing the ban. Reviewing
       the logs, you can see this was abused beyond normal limits.
       These players exploited this bug until they maxed out the skill.

       Consequences: Each player has had the exploited skills removed
       and temporarily banned for a few days.
