DC-3 Power Settings

Reviewing some recent DC-3 PIREPs (fuel consumption :o ) made
me write this reminder (known to most of us I'm sure).
Recommended Power Settings
Take-off 2700 RPM - 48" MP
Climb 2350 RPM - 36" MP
Cruise 2050 RPM - 30" MP
Descent 2000 RPM - 20" MP
With correct mixture leaning (watch the EGT), this should result
in +/- 125 Gallons per Hour (GPH) for climb, 95-100 GPH for
cruise and +/- 60 GPH for descent.
Typical overall fuel burn would be about 100 GPH, resulting in
some 1.5 Nm/Gallon enroute.
For Lbs. multiply by six, and don't forget to add reserve fuel.

Pilots quickly learn that flying is secondary to taking care of
the engines. If you don't, there will be no flying! ;D

Are these settings for the default DC3 or the MAAM DC3?
