       DC-6B: Legends of Flight

       Do you have the new DC-6B from Legends of Flight? How do you
       like it? How does it compare to the DC-6B at CalClassics? Was it
       worth the $30?

       I personally think it is, but if you are bit more patient you
       might want to wait for PMDG. They announced that they are
       working on one, too.
       In general their quality is among the best on the market, but
       their prices are on the high end, too, I am afraid....
       If you get a chance to find a bargain for the Legends of Flight
       DC6B on one of the internet shops around the world, I sugest you
       bue the download version...

       Well, I took the jump.
       Is it good ? Yes. Visually it's a lot better than the
       CalClassic. Not that bad on the FPS either
       Is it worth the money ? Dunno. As I've already spent it, I'm
       maybe trying to convince myself it's not.
       Did find some flaws on the panel. Or didn't RTFM  :-\ .
       For example. How do you set the NAV1 OBS on this plane? Searched
       like hell, but couldn't find (Herman, correct me if I'm wrong).
       Refreshed my (poor) gauge design knowlegde and added an OBS
       selector to the 2D AP popup.
       (the gauge and the knob on the right, which reads "258").

       Photoshop is great, isn't it ?
       The panel is mostly VC only, except for the radio stack (default
       FSX Kingair aargh...) and the AP.
       Some controls should be easier at hand. Gonna work some more on
       that.
       Think my money isn't trown away anyhow.

       Thanks for the report! Is it also for FS9? One thing on the
       CalClassic that always bugged me was the VC. Hardly workable.
       Hopefully this is better. Are the gauges accurate for the
       period? CalClassic DC6 had good classic gauges but I think they
       originated back in FS98.
