This is one of those ridiculous FSX-Surprises. You are no. 1 in
traffic and on long final, cleared to land - and suddenly
another AC shows-up out of the blue with no prior ATC
communication at idiotic approach speed of at least 220 kts. on
final and next ATC tells YOU to go around! Altogether, the ATC
service provided by FSX is so far from real world communication
that it is next to useless!

That's why I use Radar Contact it will slow or speed up other
aircraft so you can land or make them go around plus I get a
copilot.

The built-in ATC of FSX (and all its predecessors) is known to
be useless! So, I would advice not to use it at all and fly on
VATSIM or IVAO which give you real people as controllers.
If you do not want to fly online, there is Radar Contact which
is FAR better than anything M$ has to offer.

Hello Juergen,
thanks for sharing my opinion with re. to ATC provided by FSX.
Ithink I'll give it a try with Radar Contact since mt FSX runs
in a PC without internet connection. You see, if you know what
RW ATC is it turns your stomach to listen to the garbage offered
by Microsoft.

It is a demonstration of the capabilities of "It´s Your Plane"
voice control for MS FS in combination with the built-in ATC,
but it also works with Radar Contact!
It is really amazing and just love to fly with the help of my
virtual co-pilot Michelle... ;)

Juergen,
thanks a lot for the info provided! That sounds different,
indeed, and comes pretty close to RW ATC communication. I think
I'll purchase Radar Contact and start from there step--by-step.
I can imagine that it is good fun to have 'Michelle' do part of
the job.

Bom dia Bernd:
yes, it is really a lot of fun to just sit back and talk to
Michelle who then does what she was told. She can even do the
full takeoff and approach and landing procedure for a selection
of aircraft just by you giving her orders....
With the Super ATC feature you can TALK to ATC and do not need
to touch the keyboard at all.... It works very well with Radar
Contact and also with the built-in ATC (which is a load of crap
as we know).
I suggest you go to the IYP website and download and install the
limited trial version (works only with the C172 I think). You
have to know, however, that you will need to change a few
setting in Windows to get it to work, i.e. the country and
language setting for speech recognition. They have to be set to
U.S. standards as Michelle only understands English.... :D
It is a whole new experience and I suggest you go to youtube and
look at a few videos to see how this works....
