Want to join an air Rally?

Hi Rodney!
Thanks for the hint! I am going to participate and have
registered already. At least HAG will be represented by 2 pilots
so far. Hopefully, some more of our pilots will find the event
interesting and challenging enough to join in.

Thanks indeed for joining me in the Rally. I see your name in
the roster and we shall try to make the best while representing
the Historical airline Group. It is a toughie as I see it
already. Did you finish your flight planning? There are some
interesting points and the Rally should be a great one. I am
very sorry more of our colegues did not enter as you gain so
much knowledge.

Hello Rodney,
no, I haven't finished my flight planning yet. Unfortunately, I
injured my right hand and wrist badly some days ago which is
some sort of a severe handicap. Nevertheless, both of us are
representing Historic Airline Group in this event and that is
what counts to my understanding. In case we meet somewhere along
the routes we are going to have drink together! See you in the

Hello Bernd:
I hope your injured hand is better and that you are able to take
command of the "tiller" during the MEBAR. I see you completed
the first leg and congratulations!.... It is a great way to
sharped up the old style of navigation, and makes you better all
the way around. Now for the other legs, which are much
harder.... :)

Hello Rodney,
yes, my hand is improving every day, Thanks for asking! The
first leg is done. Let us see what is still in the bag for us. I
take it from the olympic point of view. "To be the victor does
not mean anything, but to participate is everything!" Back to
good old navigation. As long as there is no ASTRO NAV involved
its fine with me, because I can not find my sextant, ha, ha!!!

Hi Rodney,
a sextant has nothing to do with sex first of all! It is a very
helpful device to communicate with the stars and the sun. As a
side effect you can find out about your position on this globe
if you have the feeling you got lost. ;D BTW: What aere you
talking about 'needles'??? I am a pilot,. not a tailor!!! :D :D
