       David gets 5 year extension

       The Tampa Bay Buccaneers agreed to terms with outside linebacker
       Lavonte David on a five-year contract extension, the club
       announced Sunday.
       NFL Network's Rand Getlin was the first to report the length of
       the new deal.
       Financial terms weren't released by the club, but the deal is
       reportedly worth $50.25 million, with $25.56 guaranteed,
       according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
       David recorded 146 tackles and four forced fumbles in his last
       14 games with the Buccaneers, emerging as one of the leaders of
       the defense alongside defensive tackle Gerald McCoy.
       The 25-year-old is one of the rangiest linebackers in the
       league, and uses his excellent sideline-to-sideline speed to
       close down opponents in the running game.
       He graded out as the seventh-best 4-3 outside linebacker by
       scouting service Pro Football Focus.
       Selected in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft, David was an
       immediate contributor to the club, and developed into one of the
       NFL's most versatile linebackers entering his fourth pro season.
