Unfinished Past (Open, mid morning)

Echo sat silently near the edge of the building she'd chosen to
perch. She was steadily watching the smaller building across
from her spot only looking away to absently tap a few things
into her phone. She'd woken up with a slight headache from
staying up all night after going out to eat with Voodoo, now she
ignored the pain and focused on stalking her target. Out of the
three possible ones she'd chosen the easiest and closest to her
current spot.

Div yawned and walked towards his ex-job, not to see how they
were doing, butjust to get something to eat... yep, that was it.
They probably weren't freaking out without his amazing customer
service skills. This is when he looked up and saw someone he was
pretty sure he recognized.
"Hey, Thea? What you up to?"

For a brief moment she didn't register his voice sense that
wasn't the name she was going by, but as soon as her mind caught
up she blinked and looked towards him. "You are..." she frowned
and sorted through Thea's memories. "Div, yes, right....what I'm
doing is none of your concern." she answered.

Div paused for a moment and gave her a quzicle look. Div knew
Thea could keep to herslef sometime, but giving an answer like
that was a b it odd.
"...right. And here I was, about to thank you. Even offer you
some gummies, but since you're gonna be like that..."

"That is fine, I don't enjoy candy." Echo stated and returned to
her watch. Which was true, she could handle sweet things like
ice cream but mostly she avoided candy and didn't understand
Thea's obsession with it.

Div did a double take. "wh-what? Thea, the girl who I've never
seen NOT eating candy... doesn't like candy. Yo, you in there
Thea?" he paused. A slight bit of unease crossed Div's mind,
but he decided to leave it for the moment. Maybe this was just
one of those girl things.
"Anyway, how's the night club doing?"

She frowned and ran a frustrated hand through her hair. "Alright
normally I'd try to play along but I am attempting to settle
some past scores." she said and looked at him. "I'm not Thea,
you can call me Echo, I'm a split personality she created damn
near a decade ago. So any questions you have regarding Thea
won't be answered since I don't feel like sifting through her
memories." she crossed her arms.

"riiiiight." Div stood there for a moment thinking this over.
This was all getting to be more and more complicated. Breaking
into top secret facilities, Neutral going MIA for weeks, a
swanky dinner host club, a crazy woman burning down a nightclub
for what seemed to be no reason, and now someone he thought he
knew has multiple personalities.
"Okay then... Echo. That's all fine and good, but I'm guessing
you know what's been going on recently. You know the others are
going to come looking for yo-, Thea and you're not gonna be able
to give them a short answer like that. Got any plans on how to
confront that?"

She shrugged "If they come after her and get in my way I will
end them." she answered. "I have no attachment to any of Theas
friends, I'm only here to finish up these loose ends and after
that maybe I'll give Thea her body back. " she looked to him.
"Now the only real question is do you plan to get in my way?"

Div couldn't help but laugh a little. "ha, unless your plans
involve restaurants, I doubt it." he started to walk off then
stopped, "Oh, two things though." he said holding up two
fingers.
"One, good luck ending Dark if he comes looking for you. And
two, I'm not going to go making up some lame excuse for either
of you if any of them come asking around, not that I'm going to
go look for them either."
