nothing stopped her from reaching them. other than the look in
their eyes, they seemed ok. The chibi shrugs away from her harsh
tone " hey, I don't make the rules"

Lya shook the two by the shoulders one after another.
"Ego....Issyah. Can you hear me?" She sighed at the chibis
comment. "I know that but I don't need to like it."

the two didn't respond to her as she shook their shoulders. "I'm
pretty sure you know the rules. choose one, the others
live.......but there seems to be a catch" he says it shrugging
away, knowing she probably was going to blow again

Her eyes narrowed and she spin around to stare at the little
devil. The fact that they didn't respond to being shook worried
her,though not as much as the devil's words. "What do you mean
a catch?" She almost growled

The chibi literally shrinks from her words and cowers.
"well...it seems that each of them was given a choice of who
should die between them. The catch is the one YOU choose does
not die, but the person they chose will die" The chibi
cautiously returns back to his normal size.

Lya stared at the devil for a few long seconds utterly
bewildered. She was starting to expect twists.....but this.
She bit her lip hard enough to draw a bead of blood as her eyes
shimmered the same color. "So my choice in this game is
meaningless? What kind of asinine scenario is this? The ending
was already set from the moment I stepped foot in this room?
Why even bother having me pick....why not just have the one die
before my eyes the second I walk in. I won't believe there is
no choice for me to influence this here. I won't let that be
true.". She seethed. Not at the devil, but at the one pulling
the strings. She was over someone else pulling dictating the
rules.

This only served to aggravate Lya further. She gave an
irritated sigh and ran her hand through her hair. "Can I know
who they choose before I get on with this charade."

"And i assume if i choose not to make a choice, they and Vandal
all meet the same fate." She spat back at the room. The same
aura from before was back to swirling around her and the color
of her eyes had deepened once again to the color of the blood
she wore on her hands and soul. She blatantly made sure she was
standing within arms reach of both Issyah and Ego, ready to take
action the moment she made her decision. "I won't choose to
sacrifice either Issyah or Ego." Her words were blunt, but any
remnants of decorum had slowly been chipped away, leaving her
emotionally exposed.
