A Hidden Home (night, open)

Lights flickered on as Thea checked the light switches, looking
around the apartment she could see it hadn't been used in a very
long time with the amount of dust settled on everything.
Shutting the door she tossed her backpack on the couch and
opened the nearest window to get rid of the stale air in the
apartment. After leaving Takashis' she'd wandered around
carefully going through Thea's memories to see if the girl had a
safer location for her to rest in. Luckily Thea did contain one
other apartment and she'd hurriedly made her way there, happy to
further distance herself from the Alley and Theas friends.
"I wonder how much time I'll have, I can't trust Shixar to keep
his mouth shut if asked about me." she muttered and looked out
the window, she could see the city lights and frowned, thinking
about how long it'd been since she'd been allowed out and able
to see the world herself. She wouldn't be able to enjoy it for
long, she had plans, people to kill and labs to destroy. She
took her phone out her pocket and tossed it next to her bag. For
now this would be her home until Thea fought out of the memories
she'd been trapped in or until her counterpart finished all that
needed to be done. Stepped back from the window she took her
laptop out and cut it on to get started on hacking a few places.

after a while, there was a soft knock on the door "anybody
home?" Voodoo yells through the door. this being his usual route
home from one of the local bars he ventured, voodoo always found
himself looking up at the apartment building everyday.
surprisingly today was the only day he's seen the light on. His
curiosity getting the better of him(and the alcohol probably) he
decides to venture inside.

She jumped, nearly dropping her laptop off her lap. Looking over
at the door she frowned and set the computer aside. "Who the
hell is at my door. No one should know I'm here..." she thought
and cautiously went over to the door. "Yes, someone is here. Who
are you and what do you want?"

of it" voodoo says, putting his ear against the door. "Ive never
seen this light on before. You new?"

She cringed at his words, turning around she headed back to her
bag and dug around til she found a dagger and headed back to the
door "That is none of your business, state your business and
leave."

She rolled her eyes "You can call me Echo." she said as she
opened the door.

Raaj steps back as the doors opened and greets her with a big
grin. "nice to meet you echo." he looks her over once. " are you
ok you seem tense...then again a stranger just strolled up to
your door so...."

Echo pointed her dagger at him "Exactly, you've persistently
bothered me despite me asking you to go away. I am busy, in the
middle of very time sensitive plans."

as she raises the dagger, Voodoo puts his hands up in
submission. "hey, hey, hey...calm down. don't want anything to
happen that we would regret." he steps back a little, still
looking at the knife. "what do you mean by sensitive plans? I
might be of assistance. My street names Voodoo and I can just
about acquire anything you need...for a price that is"
