Amber buried her face in her arm, shaking with laughter at Div's
reaction to the food. "Amber that was rude, you know most people
can't tolerate the level of spice you enjoy." Milly chided with
a soft sigh. Amber lifted her head up, wiping the tears that
fell "Right, right, sorry Div. They aren't that hot to me but
I'm used to food with a bit of kick."
"Don't worry she's pulled this stunt on plenty of people." Jade
said, smiling. Sara shook her head and sipped her beer.

After regaining composure, Div cleared his throat and sat back
down. "Aw, I thought I was special." he joked with a smile.

Reaching over she stole a piece of Jades cake "Ooo I'll have to
get some to go. "

Div thought for a moment before changing the subject. "So you
guys hear about that fire that broke out in Dark's Alley
yesterday?"

Sara nodded "It was the talk of the night. Can't believe I
missed out on that excitement! But I'm happy there weren't any
serious injuries." she said, sighing. "We still have no clue who
set the fire."

Saras eyes went wide "Whoa! Really you were there?! Was Dark
himself there?!" she asked excitedly, nearly shoving past Amber
to hear his answer. "Whats he like, is he as dangerous and evil
as the rumors say?"

"Uuhh." Div had to think through the onslaught of questions. "I
arrived a bit after whatever happened happened.." he chose his
next words carefully.
"Someone I konw happens to work near there and they needed some
extra hands to clean up and help people who might've been hurt."
Images of the mangled bodies flashed briefly through his head,
but he decided not to mention that. Two of these ladies were
with the police after all. He decided it'd be better to not get
others involved at the moment.
"I never saw him, but from what I heard, he was pretty pissed."

Sara nodded though her expression was a bit pouty since he
didn't actual see Dark. About to ask more questions she yelped
in pain when someone kicked her leg. "Stop that, he doesn't want
you hounding him for questions. Nosy thing you tend to be." Jade
said. Sara reached down and rubbed her leg "Didn't need to kick,
I only had like a thousand more things to ask."

"It's no big deal." Div smiled reassuringly. "Although a
thousand is a bit much." He paused before continueing. "I heard
rumors on the way here that Dark was actually in one of the
other districts recently."
