"Hey it was after hours so that's gotta count for something! In
my defense I truly thought my idea would work." Gabe pouted and
wondered if he could get his headphones back from his brother.
Alice pinched the bridge of her nose "Gabe there is a reason I
have you placed in the bar and not the kitchen. Stay out of your
brothers area or I swear I will strangle you again." Alice
       warned.
Gabe gave her a thumbs up "Gabe please don't test anything else,
do it at home if you must...or at least wait til she goes out of
town to burn the place down." Luke stated and handed him back
his headphones. "Don't worry when I have the chance I will make
sure your bodies won't be found. Moving on the dining room will
be filled so Karl I expect you and your team to be on their A
game as usual, we have a couple new menu items Luke wishes to
try out so make sure you guys are pushing them. Ace and Nina we
have ten parties coming tonight for the hosts lounge, we've cut
a few items from your menu and replaced them with new things so
if someone complains oh well it happens. Gabe nothing has
changed for your area just no more sampling the drinks or
getting into competitions with patrons. I will not have another
fiasco like last month where your games caused a bar fight. that
nearly spilled into the hosts lounge." once more Gabe pouted at
her words ready to defend himself but thought better of it when
Ace and Nina glared at him.

Div looked straight ahead, but he shifted slightly. Bodies? What
the heck did this guy do!?
He then tried to focus on the important things. Right, old items
gone, push the new items. Well they were technically all new so
he figured that wouldn't be a problem. He then had a thought.
What would he say if someone asked his opinion. The manager at
the cafe had always said to just suggest the one with the
highest price, but seeing as these all had high prices, it
didn't seem to matter much. He started to raise his hand, but
then lowered it before it was fully up. He would just ask Ace
       afterwards.

"I've hired a couple new people for security. I'll formally
introduce them when we close for the night, for now they'll be
around not only monitoring their designated areas but also
seeing how you all are doing. We've got the shipment of walky
talky pins coming in so for now if trouble occurs try to flag
down one of the regular security guards, or the department head
if you can. Now before we end the meeting and finish prep work
does anyone have any questions or concerns?" Alice asked and
       looked around the room.
Gabe raised his hand before Luke could stop him "Okay now its
almost the end of the month and I demand to know why I haven't
won employee of the month." he crossed his arms "Now Ace
couldn't win because he's your lover boy and that wouldn't be
fair, Karl I could see winning but I think I'm the more likable
and handsome and driven worker to win....that and I'm very sure
I rigged the voting system so how come I didn't win?" he
questioned. Luke stood up and went to go find another seat on
the other side of the table. "You nearly burnt down the
building! Karl won employee of the month and I sent that out as
an email nights ago if you bothered to check yours you would
know and I also sent you a separate email letting you know I am
this close to killing you and to stop trying to cheat my
system." Alice grabbed the nearest object to throw at him, which
happened to be a black paperweight. Nina stood up and poked Div
"We should go, don't wanna be a witness to murder so early in
       the day." she said.

Div looked from Gabe to Alice and back. "Uuuh, yeah that'd be a
good idea." He stood to follow Nina.
Hmm, you could win employee of the month here? They didn't have
THAT at the cafe. He wondered what one had to do to win this.
He followed her back up the stairs. He assumed Ace would be
close by since that was basically his supervisor.

Nina smiled "Well that was fun, hope you enjoyed your first
meeting because that's typically how they all end up. Usually
Gabe and/or Luke have done something and Alice threatens to kill
them and Ace has to calm them down before someone calls the
cops." she said and stopped once they reached the kitchen. "Luke
will be up shortly guys, Gabe is kicking up a fit down there."
she said, some of the cooks groaned and went back to working.
"Have you ever been a host, or know anything about host clubs?"
she asked Div while leading him to the second door that lead
       into the kitchen.
The lounge section was carpeted dark red instead of hardwood,
the areas filled with large round booths, off to one end were
curtained booths and towards the front of the room sat a stage
with a white piano on it. Above the stage was the second floor
which contained the bar, there were large soundproof glass going
across the wall and a staircase tucked away into the corner that
led up to the second floor.

"Uummm. I hosted a party for my little cousine once. Does that
count?" He smiled half joking, half shy He thought some more.
"Oh, I saw a cartoon on it too. They just make people feel good
       right?"

Nina giggled "Oh it is always fun to get a new kid here." she
grinned. "Alright as a host or a hostess it is our job to pretty
much sit around and entertain guests, all of your customers will
be female ranging anywhere between 25 and up. Since your new
we'll keep you with the older women, they tend to need less
attention given to them and would rather give their host
attention." she looked around and pointed to the closed off
booths. "Since your new you won't ever be given a private party
and if anyone tries to ask you to host one decline them. Those
are for the more practiced hosts and hostess like myself and
Ace." the door to the kitchen opened and Ace came out along with
the other hosts and hostess's. "Beyond that it won't be that
bad, just read the group carefully and follow accordingly, as
long as your kind and attentive you'll find your own style."
"Alright huddle up!" Ace shouted and stopped in the middle of
the room, Nina walked over and took her spot beside him "As you
heard in the meeting we got rid of a few items mostly the
dessert menu in our section. Luke wants us to try out the mint
tea cakes and apple tarts, we got some strawberry flavored
alcohol and the shrimp cocktails are coming back now that we
have a new provider. We have four parties in the private area,
those who are working those parts already know and everyone else
will be placed accordingly." Ace explained. "We also have a
teammate so try to make him feel welcomed, no pranks while Alice
is on a war path, save it for another day." Nina warned and
checked her watch. "Our computer systems are back up so the
tablet ordering process is functional." Ace took a slip of paper
out his pocket and handed it to Div "All the hosts and hostess's
have a log in name and password to access the tablets ordering
system. When your table is ready to order just tap away on the
tablet and the order will be sent to the kitchen, when its ready
a waiter will deliver it. All the tables have their own tablet
that sit on a charging base."

Div nodded. He wasn't entirely sure of his traction with women,
but he suppose he'd find out now. He looked at the tablet login
data he was handed and decided to ask a question.
"So two things. What do we do if they're not sure? I'm guessing
we just suggest one of the new items? Secondly... Can we change
the password? Or do we all have the same one. Sorry, it's just
that this one is kind of hard to remember."

Ace nodded "If they seem unsure due to the menu changes go ahead
and suggest a new item, more than likely you'll be eating it
with them so things are easily forgive in this section than they
would in the dining section. An yeah I can show you after work
       how to change your password."
The door leading directly to the dining area opened "Five
minutes to open!" Karl shouted, nearly getting knocked over when
Gabe came rushing past him "Urgh Alice kept me back now I've got
no time to prep!" he wailed and took off up the steps. The rest
of the bar tending team hurried after him. "Riiight you heard
the man, five minutes, straighten up uniforms, private sections
head to your areas, the rest of you go find a table! Guests will
be led in shortly!" Nina shouted as she and Ace headed out to
       the dining area.

       Div nodded. "Got it."
Ok Div, here we go. Let's not screw this up. He moved in the
direction of his section and waited for ... something. While
waiting, he casually wondered who the first guest would be.
Chatting and eating the dishes and getting paid for it seemed
like a pretty legit and super easy job. Plus he talked to his
fare share of women in the past. What could go wrong.
