He smiles as she speaks. More for the act than the actual feel.
Her determination, strength, modesty, and belief in darks system
was admirable.....and it made him sick. People like her sparked
a fire in idiots, causing them to believe anything. The
confusion in the crowd was nearly eradicated. Almost all were
back on darks. He wasnt a fool. The battle was lost but the war
was far from over. "Alright alright.....i concede this one"

Lya found herself nodding along as Thea spoke. She had been
shown little kindness from others in her time. Her parents had
been it, before she had met Dark. Her trust came from that.
She could feel the not quite sincerity behind his smile. She
gave him a quick glance.

Thea nodded "Well, hopefully we'll have a more pleasant
encounter next time we meet." she said, stepping back to stand
with her friends again.

Hearing him concede the crowd began to dissipate. Vice and Ego
come down. Along with Cash and Brook who head over to their
boss. "we should have just let you represent Dark" Vice says to
Thea.

Thea blushed a bit and shrugged "Nah not that great." she said
and handed the folder to Ego. She headed over to Vice and
climbed on his back. "You guys really need to look through that,
we're gonna have a lot of problems really soon." she said.

"Yes we do...." he says , scanning through the folder. "....as
soon as we can find Dark." his voice was a little agitated.
Vice sighs as she climbs on. "Want to climb me like that?"
Vandel whispers in Lyas ear. Just now noticing Nico and Vandel.
Ego steps toward them only to be cut off by Takashi "Still no
word from our temporary leader?" Ego tries to stay cool but
furstration was written all over his face. "you have to be
kidding right now. You keep trying to convince people you're the
better choice for the alley but its not working." Cash and Brook
step forward but Takashi stops them. he smiles and looks Ego in
the eye. " I will have the alley....and this city. Ive just been
going about it wrong." With that he turns and leaves.

At the whisper in her ear her face flushed lightly, a tinge of
pink flecking across them for an instant. She turned to him
giving him a look, slipping back into her normal control.
"Would there be a reason to do so" she asked.
As Takahashi spoke again Lya sighed and gave him a glare. There
were very few vibes if any he could read from him that didn't
unsettle her.

said, sighing softly. "Speaking of candy I'm in dire of some

"Are you saying i should buy you candy" he pulls a bag from
inside his coat. The sweet smell of candy wafts through the air.
Vandel contemplates maybe blowing takashi up. But decided
against it. Ego turns his attention back to them. "So lya. Are
they your friends?"
