Lya let some of her tension go as she watched his actions. She
was still way but he wasn't stirring up trouble, so she merely
watched.

Thea resisted the urge to snatch her hand away, she hated that
surge of electricity it always stung a bit. "I'd feel more
comfortable sharing this after Vice and Ego have had a chance to
look over it." she said, glancing up at the two.
Asae chuckled at the spam of texts.

Takashi laughs and puts his hands in his pockets "very

Ad he put his hands away lya relaxed. If he wasn't going to
outright push then she had no need to be completely on edge.
She sighed and leaned back a bit, playing with the ends of her
hair out of habit.

Thea shrugged "Well unfortunately for Dark that's who I and many
others have put their faith and trust in." she smiled. "And as
nice as you look in that suit I don't really know you so I'll
stick with Dark and be happy to work with you if need be."

His smile slowly fades away " blind faith.....why? Because he is

spread through the crowd again her gaze darted around.

Thea shook her head "It is faith, loyalty, trust, friendship and
a whole bunch of other reasons." she said and clutched the
folder in her hand. "I was just like them, those who follow
Light and the Patriots, I believed everyone following Dark was
evil and ready to destroy everything." sighing she shook her
head. "And when I came here those years ago I was afraid and
alone, I'd lost everything dear to me yet the alley supported
me. It gave me skills to survive, it taught me things i never
would've learned and showed me to not just blindly follow and
trust but to learn and to know who deserves my faith and who
doesn't."
"I don't believe in Dark because he's some extra super powered
individual, I've worked with people without powers and they are
just as strong and capable. I've been hurt and betrayed by those
without powers, and I've learned to live without the use of my
powers. Powers do not make an individual worthy or less worthy
of faith. I believe in Dark because he is compassionate, because
he's a decent person and does all he can to protect the Alley. I
will follow Dark because he has proven himself to me, I will
follow Vice and Ego because they have proven themselves to me
time and time again. I won't just abandon my friends because of
one set back, I will rally them and support them so we can fight
back so everyone can be safe." glaring she stepped forward and
poked him in the chest. "You want me to believe in you then
prove to me that there is something to believe in, show me that
I can trust you, put my faith in you and support you. I put my
faith in the goodness that I see in my friends and allies, not
their powers."
