The scene was an office space that theyd never seen before. The
space was simple with a plain dark blue background with a file
cabinet, calendar, and plastic tree in the background. The sound
of door openinf could be heard and a woman sits in front of the
camera. She was a young brunette wearing glasses and a lab coat.
Her badge read:
[center]Jennifer Harrison
Chief of Science[/center]
"My name is Jennifer Harrison. I am a chief of science with the
patriots science division. I act under the head of science
division Dr Nikolai Allabaster." she takes off her glasses and
rubs her temples. Something seems to be eating at her. "I
just....I just cant do this anymore. Me and my husband Tyler
Harrison have been working under Dr Allabaster for too long. My
sins are too heavy to carry and i will not carry anymore.....but
hopefully what i do will lighten the load, if even just a
little." she puts her glasses back on. " me and my husband have
been helping with a suppressing agent that will nullify powered
individuals making them easier to subdue. But we were not told
that the projects we were working on were to be a lethal end to
powered individuals. We have learned that the patriots have seen
Darrick, codename: Dark, as too much of a liability and must be
eliminated. And while that may have been the case, Dr Allabaster
has other agendas planned which he seems to keep well hidden.
To try and stop this we have stolen all the work that has been
put into this project.......this plan may not be the best, it
may even get is killed......but at least we tried to right our
wrongs." she looks into the camera with sorrowed eyes before
mouthing sorry and cutting it off.
Vandel ran a hand through his hair "so.....wait,what?....if she
stole all the work then how did they make more of these
weapons!" he tosses the trashbag full of weapons onto the table
"these ones arent the same that were tested on me in the video,
these are modified. So either she failed or she lied!" vandel
somewhat yelled. Between being a guinea pig and knowing that
these weapons were going to be used on innocent powered people
it seemed to be wearing on him.

Leo looked thoughtful "If they managed to recreate what she did
without the notes then someone could've easily copied them
before hand without her knowing. Or they were incredibly lucky
to get this far without the notes." he said and frowned. "Either
way we have a starting place and we know what we're doing.
Getting mad about things we can't change is useless, it is time
to focus on what we can do to stop them."

Lya nodded. "And if they took what they made and we took some of
the second recreation. Well then there are multiple ways for
the information to be out there. Maybe with knowledge of this
can do something out stop them. It at least gets us on more
even footing.". She sighed rubing her temples.

He stood up and headed to the stairs "Right now, you all need to
get some rest. As far as I know after that nothing until this
whole mutiny problem is taken care of." he stroked his beard.
"Darks gonna have his hands full but the sooner we get that
tamped the sooner we can plan."

Lya couldn't help but admit she needed to rest. She sighed
reluctantly and followed him up the stairs, wondering if she
needed anything from her apartment.

"rest is for the dead" he stands and follows them. a reluctant
yawn escapes him and he sighs afterward "but I suppose a little
shut eye will do. I call dibs on your open side of the bed" he
says, wrapping an arm around Lyas shoulders.

Leo softly laughed and opened the door that led back to the
shop, seeing Thea and the other guard he nodded "Were you able
to find them a place to bunk Asae?" he asked and walked over to
the counter. She nodded "A two bedroom is all that's available
for the time being. I'll try to speak with our other contacts to
find a more suitable place."
Thea left the counter and walked over to Lya and Vandel "Was the
video helpful?" she asked.

Lya raised an eyebrow as Vandel wrapped an arm around her.
Unsure how to respond she followed into the room where Thea was.
She nodded with a sigh. "Yeah it had some useful information.
Hard to watch though."

"yeah apparently Jennifer Harrison, one of the scientist; had a
change of heart and tried to stop them from doing what they were
doing.....but apparently that failed " he waved the bag of
weapons around, showing them off.
