Once he was settled she placed her legs in his lap. "Psh who
needs a room when you can train outdoors. Darks alley has better
training areas that are more practical and helpful for real life
situations." She said confidently. "Well if you really want to
stay out of it you don't have to come help me. I'm capable of
breaking in and stealing all by myself."

"Yeah I suppose I could..." he tilted his head in her direction
and grinned. "But it's not everyday a hot babe comes around
asking me for help. So that being said, " he then did an
exaggerated sigh and stretched as if he had no other choice. "I
suppose I can help you." he then sat up, taking note of the
extra weight on his lap. In a more serious tone he continued, "I
get the feeling things are going to get much too close to home
if I just stand by. Neutral and the others in her group don't
really do too much. While Light and Dark have some sort of
planning, Neutral's pretty much been non existent, probably
seeing how things play out. I don't just want to sit back and
watch things 'play out'. if you get my meaning."

Thea nodded, though she wasn't too sure on the hot babe part
"True, I feel like something bad is on the horizon and I want to
make sure things are as prepared as possible." she sighed softly
and took out her phone and started typing. "From what our cop
friend said there are workings for the device in Shrike labs,
we'll need to infiltrate, steal it and leave without causing too
much fuss. Ego will be help by creating a diversion to draw out
as much security as possible."

"Shrike labs huh..." Div thought to see if he remembered that
name form anywhere, but nothing came up. " Where is that
located? And what kind of device is this?"

"Outskirts of downtown, and no clue what it looks like, I'm
hoping the thing won't be huge since we need to smuggle it out.
Most labs are divided up by whatever research thing they're
doing. So we're looking for technology departments." she said
and pulled up the blueprints for the lab. "4th floor of the
building, this would be easier if I had my laptop."

Div moved over to see what she was looking at. "Wow this screen
is tiny. You ever think about getting one of those tablet
things?" He squinted and looked on. "I'm guessing these locks
won't be as easy to pick as the ones in the apartment complex.
What's your strategy to get in? ANy info on guards?"

"Too clunky, bigger than a phone and smaller than a laptop. I'd
have to carry a purse just to take it with me and I'm not into
purses." she said and zoomed in. "Keycard access so yeah I'm not
too good with that style of hacking so we'll need to steal some
keycards." she zoomed back out and frowned.
"Guard wise I believe standard weapons, guns, taser, handcuffs.
The most will be on the ground floor, maybe one or two on each
floor and if we're unlucky one or two on the roof. The one at
the security desk will probably not leave his station once Ego
sets off the distraction so if we enter the front way that'll be
our biggest worry." she added thoughtfully. "I'm trying to
figure out the best way to get in, that's the only difficult
part..."

"Well knowing you, it won't be from the front. Do they have fire
escapes or something... And what kind of distraction are we
talking?... wait, who's Ego?" Div realized he hardly knew anyone
she was talking about. Where would they get the keycards, when
was this happening? He had a ton of questions, but decided to
hold off on some of them.

"Honestly remind me to drag you down to the club, best for you
to know everyone if you're gonna be working with me. General
commotion, I don't know the details but I'm sure whatever Ego
plans will be suitable." she said and shook her head as the
looked at the plans. "No fire escapes, so maybe we can storm the
roof, take out the guard and take his security card, that'd give
us access to almost everything. Find some scientist, knock them
out and steal their lab coats and cards.." grinning she moved
her legs and stood up.
"Yes that'd be perfect! Right we'll need the blueprints for the
nearest building, might have to get grappling hooks and
binoculars." she said nearly bouncing on her toes in excitement.

"Wow, you're getting pretty excited about this huh?" he stood
up. "Well if you plan on doing this tonight, gimme a sec to
change clothes and shower and we can go." He headed to one of
the closed doors which turned out to be his bedroom.
