Cafe Break 2 (evening open, after Pay Up)

Finishing up her business at the Patriots police station Thea
made her way to the cafe hoping Div had a shift at this time so
she could broach the subject of him helping her on another
mission. "Exchanging numbers, remember to do that so this won't
be necessary." she muttered. She had her sunhat off and her hair
back up in a ponytail. She was tired of wearing her dress and
really wanted to finish this up and head home to take another
shower and go to sleep.

Finally, his shift was almost over. Just one more hour to go.
After the officer came in, Div planned on going to find Thea,
but he really didn't know where to look and while he heard that
she worked at a night club, he really didn't wanna go snooping
around that area.
He took some plates back when it dawned on him that cafes don't
normally have waiters... but he figured there was a first time
for everything.
That's when he turned and saw her. He took a slightly longer
look at her. Turns out she was actually pretty easy on the eyes,
a shame she never dressed in a more casual fashion. Always
business with this one it seemed. Ah well.
He walked over.
"Hi, welcome to Balontine's. How can I help you?" He said this
in a very professional manner.

"Ah good you're here. I've been searching...well only here but
no matter." She said quickly and set her hat down on the nearest
empty table. "A few things. First do you have pants and a shirt
I can borrow, this dress is horrid and I need out. Secondly I
need your help on an assignment and thirdly a chocolate cake
with honey lemon tea." She fired off her questions rapidly while
bouncing on her feet.

OOC: Oops, didn't realize she was still wearing the outfit from
the other thread.
"Really? I think looks pretty good on you." he said while
leading her to a table. "Here we are." he said, holding his hand
out to a table. "One chocolate cake slice and a honey lemon tea
coming right up." he continued.
He then began straightening some things on the table that really
didn't need to be straightened while he said in a quieter tone.
"Yeah so I already gotta warning for chitchatting with customers
while working so gimme a bit." he stood and said in a slgithly
louder than normal voice. "I'll be right back with your order
ma'am. :) "

"It is impractical, that's what it is. And embarrassing." she
muttered and took her seat. Thea rolled her eyes "Say the word
and I'll blackmail your boss, uber important business to be
talked about." she took her phone out with a sigh.

He returns a moment later with a glass of water. "I don't think
that's necessary. Hold on a sec." He returned a few minutes
later with her order in a to-go box and cup. "Let's just go now.
I told them we were child-hood lovers and your parents just died
in a horrible car accident, so we're good... Might wanna not
hang out around here too long though.
He grabs his jacket and waits by the door.

Thea frowned thoughtfully "I think blackmail woulda been
better." she grabbed her hat and followed him out. "Well it
keeps you from getting in trouble so I won't complain further."

"Yeah I alrady had two complainers earlier." he walked with her
a few blocks before continuing. "So what's this about you need
clothes? Oh, and the cop from before paid a small visit earlier.
It's why I got a warning."

"Hm that's probably why he was so irritated." she mumbled, arms
crossing. "I saw him earlier today to see how he was, get info
and be a pest. The station is pretty far from here when I get
run the roofs." she said. "This dress is annoying and my
apartment is too far away. I wanted to get here before you guys
closed."

"Aaahh right." He thought back over the conversation with the
cop... what was his name? Alister or something. "He was asking
all sorts of questions. 'Who are you? Why were you there?
Where's that girlfriend of your's?'... Okay he didn't ask that
last one... not in those exact words anyway."
He took a look at the time on his phone before continuing. "My
place is near the park where this whole thing started so it's
still about 15 minutes from here. That okay?"
