She held back her sarcastic 'no shit' and ate some of her worms.
"Cover up like this are normal, you don't want people to
question their own organization and you looking stuff up will
put markers on you. You don't want that." she said and hopped
off the desk. "If you think something is going on then I can
always do some hacking for you. I was gonna do it anyways but I
suppose I could be generous and give you the info I find." she
figured it'd be good to have someone on the force as a contact.
"But only if you can answer a few of my questions."

"Why do you want to know so bad? What do you plan to do if you
find out they are trying to cover it up?" she asked seriously.
She needed to be sure he was doing this for good reasons.

She shrugged "Good enough for me." she smiled. "If I decide to
hack I'll let you know what I find. One more thing, it concerns
the guy who started the fires. He's dangerous, like crazy
dangerous, very strong powers." she said and crossed her arms.
"Do you know anything about a device that can dampen powers?"

were somewhat nice I won't run out of here making a scene." she
said and grinned "Hopefully we won't run into each other again.
Though be honest running into me means something interesting is

"Somehow i doubt fate will work in my favor....seeing as ive run
into you three times in the last two weeks" he fixes his glasses
and proceeds to open the door "interesting is not always
good.....but interesting none the less" a short smile quickly
comes and goes before he looks away.

She caught his smile as she stopped in the doorway "Sure, I know
you enjoy our chance encounters." with a smirk she got on her
tip toes and kissed his cheek. "Thank you for taking time out of
your busy day to see me. You and your men are brave and
diligent. I feel safer knowing you all are protecting our
streets." she said loud enough for the others to hear.

He blushes as she kisses his cheek "y-yes maam. It is our duty
and pleasure and we are happy to serve.....aint that right boys
" he says loudly. The officers yell and cheer in excitement.
"Until then..." he says and heads back to his desk.
