After stopping at her apartment to shower and change Thea was
finally able to get started on the things she needed to do
today. First thing was hit up the Patriots police station in
search of Allabaster. She wanted to check on the cop to see if
he was okay, see if he had any extra information to glean and of
more importantly get the gummi worms he owed her.
Thea stared up at the station, adjusted her straw sunhat and
headed up the steps. She would've gotten there faster but
parkouring was hard to do in a sundress and she didn't want to
seem too suspicious by coming in dressed in her other clothes.
Walking in she took note of the activity and quietly made her
way to the front desk "Um hi I'm looking for someone who works
here. Blond hair, kinda young looking and about this tall." she
said moving her hand to slightly above her head. "He was one of
the cops on the scene when that apartment building caught fire."

if blending in was what she was aiming for. she failed
miserably. every male eye was on her as she made her way to the
front desk. The two cops sitting there nearly killed each other
to get to her first. one finally winning over the other, he
shoves his partner aside and leans on the front desk "I will
love to help you miss" the cops voice was strong and clean. his
looks was almost too perfect, like right out of the pages of a
fantasy. "I believe the guy you're looking for is Lieutenant
Allabaster..c'mon" he puts his hand out to lead her around the
desk and into the back.

Thea took a step back as the two fought to reach her. As the
winner spoke she looked from his face down to his hand
"Right...thanks." she said hesitantly and took his hand to walk
around the desk. "I wonder what that was all about. Are all
officers this weird?" she thought.

The back of the station was filled with patriots. Most were at
desk filling out paperwork. The rest were escorting criminals
around in handcuffs. Too the far back of the room was an office
and inside was lloyd allabaster. The officer led her through the
chaotic mesh of patriots and desk and knocked on the door before
entering. "Lieutenant, this beautiful young lady was looking for
you" the officer says. Lloyd looked at thea but seemed to not
recognize her "thank you officer james. " officer james nodded
and left, closing the door behind him. " so what can i help you
with?"

Thea raised an eyebrow and looked down at her dress "Wow either
I'm very unattractive in my normal clothes or this dress is
magic." She said and pulled her sun hat off. "You owe me a bag
of Gummi worms." She walked over and perched herself on the
corner of his desk.

Lloyd went from confusion to pure shock in 0.3 seconds. "What
the hell are you doing here !?" he whisper yells and quickly
rushes to shut the door and close the blinds to his office. "Are
you my personal demon from hell or something!?
WHAT-DO-YOU-WANT!?!?".
Although every encounter with Lloyd usually ended with his
temper flaring, today he seemed a little off. His hair was
disheveled and his glasses were crooked on his face. His desk
was covered in paperwork, most obvious the case files from the
murder and the apartment incident.

Thea watched him run around frantically and frowned "I suggest
you be careful. It only takes 3 seconds for me to work up enough
tears to make it seem like you were rude to me." she warned and
flicked through the papers on his desk. "After all I'm the
'beautiful' lady who's only come to thank the dear captain for
saving myself and others from that burning apartment. All I'd
have to do is run out of here tearfully into the arms of one of
your random subordinates ad tell them how mean you were."
She picked up the papers concerning the murders and apartment
"Now like I said I've come to collect the candy you owe me and I
wanted to make sure you were okay."

The paper work was pretty vague on everything from the murder to
the incident at the apartments. The writer seemed to have no
leads to neither the murderer nor the creatures from the
apartments.
Lloyd rubs a hand through his hair and sighs heavily he heads
back to his chair and takes a seat "i am fine....." he reaches
into one of the drawers on his desk and pulls out a bag of gummi
worms and throws them too her "you have your candy....you see
that im alive and well......goodbye" he says and takes the
paperwork from her and puts it back on the desk

She immediately opened the bag and grinned "Good and awesome.
But no I'm not leaving just yet." she said and poked his cheek.
"Why so stressed, these unexplained mystery cases can just be
summed up to the public as animal attacks and an arsonist gone
rouge or something. Case closed and you'll be able to move onto
stress free things." the less he investigated the less involved
he'd need to be.

He swats at her finger and misses horribly. " you sound like
everyone else. Just because its swept under the rug, doesnt mean
the mess is gone....it just looks like it." he takes off his
glasses and rubs his temples. "The two murdered were scientist
for the patriots.....youd think that was important to
them.....but as soon as i try and run more through the database
theyve suddenly disappeared from the system. As much as it makes
me sick......i think the patriots are up to no good"
