Thea nodded "Yep, ate lots of cookies and cakes and avoided
anything green. Then I got struck by lightning and bam my powers
kick started which also revved up my metabolism."

" you sound like a superhero comic. Lightning girl.....or the
flash" he joked.
Naya soon returned carrying a tome sized book. She sits next to
thea and rubs the cover happily. Vices face immediately goes
back to its dark red color and he slowly eats like it may be his
last meal.

Naya laughs amd opens the book. The first page was pictures of
her and brenner in their youth. Brenner was carrying a stack of
papers and trying to run away from a tong carrying naya who was
dressed in culinary ware. " this is us in our teens. He was in
school for business and i to become a chef. I was going to
travel all around and learn the worlds many tongues of fine
cuisine."

Thea smiled softly "Wow pretty then and prettier now. Did you
travel the world. I'd love to go see other countries."

"Arent you the sweetest thing.......suck up" vice mutters.
Naya laughs and rubs theas head some more " thank you so
much.....alas i never got around to traveling. My mother grew
ill and needed someone to take care of her." she turns the page,
showing a picture of her with three very mischievous looking
little boys around her. They had to be no more than 15. " this
is little ryoji" she says and points to a chubby boy. He looked
the baddest of them all. He wore a bandana over his head and a
chain around his neck. Next to him was who could only be dark.
The kid in the picture had the same hair and eyes. He even wore
the same hat. Ego stood next ti dark wearing nothing but black.
Black t shirt, black jeans, black eyeliner......and black hair.
"My bad little boys" she said the words so proudly. " they used
to terrorize the neighborhood, they even ran out most of the
local gangs"

She stuck her tongue out at Vice and looked down at the
pictures, she smiled fondly at the younger pictures of the three
boys "Wow did he go through a phase?" she asked looking at Ego's
younger self in surprise. "I'm so used to his now looks all
bright and flamboyant. Dark hasn't changed too much."

"Darrick has always been sure of his path and himself" naya says
and caresses the picture " thats why they followed so
confidently behind him i suppose" she lets a soft laugh escape
her lips. " kai was such a downer...he never saw the good in
anything and he had no confidence whatsoever.....then he changed
so abruptly" she says with a giggle. Vice blushes a little more
as a thought runs through his mind. he continues eating in
silence.
