In the Lab (After A Crack in the System, night)

Helena walked through the empty halls of city hall, humming
softly she waved to security guard on duty as she took out her
key card and swiped through to the less public areas. Most of
city hall was open to the public but there were several areas
closed off for the higher ups along with secret underground
areas. Which was exactly where she was headed, she got on the
elevator and flashed her key card at the scanner that would
allow her down to the basement labs. She hoped Dr. Alabaster
would be in his lab so she could discuss her earlier encounter
with Amina.

The elevator came to stop and with a soft ding the doors opened.
Light stood on the other side wearing a three piece light grey
and a sword at his hip, next two him were two armed guards. Both
faces of the couldn't be seen and they both carried sub machine.
Light's yes flicked to Helena." Your both dismissed." He said as
he into the elevator.
He reached into his inner breast pocket and removed his key card
to the scanner." Hello Helena."

"Good evening sir. Finishing up some late night business?" she
asked politely, standing up straighter as he entered the
elevator.

His hand rested on the hilt of his sword." No, I'm just doing a
Security sweep. What are you doing here so late?"

She smiled "Science never takes a break. I'm just here to handle
some business and speak to Dr. Alabastor if he's in his lab."

His face remain impassive."That's the last floor I need to
check. If you don't mind, I'll be accompanying you." Even though
he said it as a question, he wouldn't take no for an answer.

"Perfect! The halls can be kinda of creepy at night." she said
and let the silence fill the elevator. "Just what I need..." she
thought.

The silence between them sit until the elevator dinged once
again and the doors opened." I'm going to do my sweep, I'll meet
you at the doctors door. I want to see what business you have
with the doctor." Not waiting for her to reply, Light walked
away from the elevator and started his sweep.

Helena watched him go, the somewhat pleasant smile on her face
falling away to a deep frown at the mans words. Seeing that
there was nothing she could do she got off the elevator and
headed down the hall towards Dr. Alabastors door wondering how
she' be able to handle this situation.

20 minutes after she reached Dr. Alabastor door, light arrived
at the door.
