A Crack in the System (Morning, open)

The soft light of morning cut through the high windows of the
study center, creating enough light that there was no need to
turn on the artificial light of the quiet room Helena was based
in. The empty room had a long conference table with all the
chairs pushed in except for one. Sitting in that one chair was a
woman in her early 30's though she looked younger, her long
bluish black hair was pushed out her face with one side held
back by a black and white clip. Her dark blue eyes traveled over
the paperwork that was stretched in front of her. Helena leaned
back in her seat and took a sip of her coffee "Still coming up
with nothing, why can't I just crack this problem?" she asked
the empty room and stood up.
White lab coat swishing as she bent over her research and pushed
a few papers aside, this was one of the few days off she had
from the hospital and research labs and she wanted to use it
without distractions.

"It's early the other rooms shouldn't be in use." Helena set her
papers down and tucked the more sensitive information beneath
the mundane. She went over and opened the door "Hi, did you need
something?"she asked politely.

"Miss Thanos, so it has." she stepped aside and motioned for the
girl to come in. "What are you doig up so early, and in the
study center, come to find something of interest?"

lately. What about you?" She said as she walked in.

"Same old same old, attempting to solve a problem, figure out
how illnesses affect humans and those with powers, some random
heredity work. The usual." she let the door closed and went back
over to her papers. "So how's that going for you, anything
interesting found in your studies?"

"Well I've been studying how emotions effect battle so. I've
made this" She took out a grey pill. "This pill allows you to
become emotional less. A dedicated fighter. Now I need someone
to test the prototype on.
