Dark smiled and sat the cup down "an establishment such as this
is only as good as the people you hire so, I suppose that would
depend? What kind of skills do you have that pertain to the
club?"
Ego smiled as he went back to his standing position "No No, The
pleasure is all mine" his eyes look her over and he touches his
chin " and what brings you to the shade club miss?....miss? I
don't believe I got your name?"

"Skills?" She thought for a moment. "Well I'm good at
performance arts." She paused as she said this. Crap!
"Performance arts" sounded a bit too broad. "Erm, I mean like
plays and theater." She took a step back in shock. "Wait, you
mean to tell me you've never seen any of my shows in the theater
district?"
Her shows usually were solo acts that consisted of strange or
interesting monologues about, well anything. Oneday it could be
imitating a child not wanting to go to school and the next it
could be a crazed old housekeeper trying to hide the owner's
children away from their psychotic parents. In the latter
pieces, she usually had one or two other people with her. She
had only had a few small roles in more major productions such as
the famous Balance in which she played a simple maid.
"I'm also a pretty good artist." Myra has contributed a few
interesting if not strange pieces to the art museum downtown in
the human area. Most of these were large pieces of geometry with
flowers or diamond shaped stones scattered across them. Her
oddest piece--and the one she was most proud of--was a double
honeycomb-shaped out of hardened plastic and aluminum. Each hole
was filled with a different colored light bulb. As she was no
engineer, she had to get some help from a few others to put it
together. What it is suppose to represent, no one really knows
but her.
"Oh! And I'm also quite well versed in the science of people."
She then pointed to her eyes, then her ears as she continued to
speak. "I keep my eyes peeled and my ears open." She then
smiled.
"If you're looking to add a bit of unexpected inshreigue to the
pace, I'm your gal." She smiled as she did a small twirl, making
her dress turn into a galaxy of sparkles.

"actually, I'd just be fine with being a waitress if that's ok
with you." she said.

Lya smiled softly and bowed her own head in greeting.
[I]"Lya Bellerose. What brings me here?
Well I found myself in the area and wanted to see what this
place was.. She answered innocently enough. It was
true, but she had come to see what those of this area were like,
and to get a better feel of herself.

Darks eyebrow raised "waitress? You dont seem like the waitress
type?"
Ego crossed his arms and looked at her. Contrary to his name he
was actually pretty good with people "milady....although i will
not pry.....is that truly why you're here?"

Myra paused for a moment while thinking. "Well yes but I think
it might be good to" she hesitated "get more acquainted with
everyone... Plus I kind of need the money. I would've asked for
a position as bar tender, but I'm no good with mixing drinks and
I doubt anyone would want to eat what I come up with in the
kitchen." she broke into a small smile.
"So, what do you say?"

A frown flashed across her face for a moment as Ego spoke before
she sighed with a soft smile. [I]"I've
been trying to find myself for a year and I thought getting an
idea of different mindsets would help. So I ventured over
here."

Dark pauses for a while, as if hes weighing the pros and cons of
hiring her "mmmmmmmiiiii suppose we have a waitress position
open. Youll have to learn our menu of drinks and food and your
supervising manager will be he handsome blonde gentleman over
there" he points to ego. He then looks at her and his eyes shift
to a a soft blue color and he smiles "welcome to the shade club"
" a man can find so many things. Fame and fortune of a thousand
kings. But the one thing he wants he cannot find. His true
persona, his heart and mind." ego says softly, reciting a poem
he heard when he was a child "what sort of mind sets were you
hoping to come across?"

Myra hid her excitement well. She eyed the man in question. At
the moment, he seemd to be wooing another girl.
"Hm, he seems to have quite an ego, doesn't he." she stressed
the word as if it meant something.
"She then quickly chantged the subject as she turned back to
Dark. "You konw, I actually like the collection of items.
Everything from the salted fries to the Fire's Spirit. And may I
say, what a drink that turned out to be." She glanced at the bar
then back to Dark.
"Well tahnk you for your consideration. When should I start?"

Lya smiled at his quote and found herself nodding softly.
[i]"Generally a wide variety. I met someone
recently who managed to easily get me to open up about things I
never talk about. I think I am just looking for a place I can
be open. Anyone who could aid in that, or at least not shun me
for that would probably be who I was looking for."
