Thea's Apartment

A spacious apartment with 1 bedroom. The walls were a soft cream
color with old building blueprints framed on the walls. Her
living room had one coffee table with two laptops sitting on it
in front of a black leather couch. Off to the side was a small
two person cafe style table with gun cleaning and knife
sharpening supplies littered atop it and from there was the
kitchen. Her bedroom was pretty bare with just a bed, a night
stand and a dresser. On the nightstand sat two photo frames,
both facing down, along with a small lap. Her dresser had every
available surface covered with various hair accessories, all of
them organized by type and color.

Thea unlocked the door to her apartment and kicked her shoes
off. "This had to be the longest and weirdest day." she mumbled
and ran a hand through her hair, her blue eyes looked around the
room making sure nothing was out of place. She set her bag down
and fell down onto the couch and flipped open one of her
laptops. As it booted up she went to go take a quick shower and
get dressed in her, what she would call, ninja attire. Thea
toweled her hair and grabbed a black scrunchie to pull her hair
back.
As she headed back to her living room she grabbed a pair of
black sneakers and sat back down on the couch to type in her
password. Taking out her phone she uploaded the pictures she
took of the crime scene and began pulling up documents of their
apartment to get a look at what'd she be breaking into. She sent
the blueprints to her phone and turned her laptop off. "Right
time to get to work." slipping her shoes on she grabbed the
daggers off the table and slid them into hidden pouches on her
clothing, her gun tucked away securely into her waistband and
her pouch of lock picking equipment and gummy worms tied to her
hip. She opened her window and slid off to the roof using the
fire escape.

Continued from A Bit of Breaking and Entering.
Thea looked up from the book in her lap. After showering and
putting on shorts and a tank top she'd gone down to the lobby to
wait for Div. She hopped down from the front desk "Took ya long
enough. Come on I'm on the 5th floor and the pizza I ordered is
getting cold." She said and headed to the elevator.

Div looked up to see Thea atop the front deksk before she jumped
down. This was one odd character, but he wasn't counting that
against her.
"Hey." he said casually. At the mention of pizza, he perked up.
No one said pizza was part of the equation. Fresh!
He followed her up.

Thea stepped off the elevator once it reached her floor. She
headed to the last door on the right "Ignore the mess on the
table." she said as she stepped inside and headed to the living
room. She'd moved her laptops off the coffee table, to make room
for the pizzas, and onto the dining table. "I just ordered
pepperoni so help yourself." she went to the table and gathered
up her gun cleaning equipment and found a spot on the living
room floor "So wanna explain how that mess happened with the
lizard things?" she asked once he was settled.

Div followed her in and looked around. Wow, this girl had quite
a place.
He grabbed a slice and sat at the table and recounted the events
of what just happened.
"Did you know that there was a guy in there that could do that?"
he asked after he was done, reaching for another slice.

As he explained she's set her stuff down and frowned. With a
sigh she resumed cleaning her gun "No...if I did I would've sent
you on distraction duty and handled the other problem myself."
she reassembled her gun and flicked the safety on after loading
in the bullets. "At least we know they were of some importance
if someone was sent to get rid of any important info they had."

Div whiped his hands on a nearby napkin. "Well I don't know how
important it was, but there was a LOT of info in that apartment.
Papers and books and... OH! There was this one small book that
stood out sitting on a table... darn I should've grabbed it. It
looked like some kind of journal."

"Probably ashes now...well gotta say for our first team up
assignment I'd have to give us a solid D+" she said and stood
up. "Could've been better but whatever. I'll figure something
out, someone on the grapevines have to know about a man who goes
around doing shady stuff and summoning weird creatures."
