much I'm guessing animal but it has to be a man made one.
Nothing in this area can do damage like this." she said and
carefully began going through the womans pocket to find a wallet
or any identification. "Whatever it was fled off when the cops
showed up."

"I see." Div leant in closer to take a better look at the object
wedged in the girl's body. "You're right. This is definitely
manmade." he sat back on his knees and turned to Thea. "I've
seen of few small knives with fashions like this one in books,
but haven't see one in real life., but even so," he looked down
at the clar once more while slowly rubbing his chin with the tip
of his thumb. "this looks more like it broke off of something
than actually thrown. You mind if I take it out or should we
leave it for fingerprints or something?" Div may have been good
with knives and small blades, but he wasn't much of a detective.
"And that other guy should be careful. There could be more of
these wondering around and if this is the kind of claw blade I
think it is, just getting pricked with one could mess you up for
quite a while."

The womans pockets were empty. A few feet from the body lay a
purse with ita contents spilled out, likely from being attacked.
The contents were make up, gum, two id's and two tickets. The
id's had the names Jennifer and Tyler Harrison. The couple was
in there late 20's and there address was a few blocks from the
park. The tickets were to a popular play called the "forever
amore". The theatre lay in the far stretch of the theatre
district to the opposite side of the park.

"No need to worry about Vice, he can perfectly take care of
himself." she said and stood up when her search came up empty.
"We'll take it, I'm sure there are other identifying pieces for
the police to take with them." she looked around and saw a purse
with its contents on the ground "And there's our info!" she
hurried over and knelt down to go through the items.
Thea picked up the tickets and frowned "Looks like she was at
the theater, probably heading home and wanted to cut through the
park...two tickets so I bet her husband was with her." she said
and set them down "Question is where is her husband?" she took a
picture of the id's and stood up. "If these creatures were man
made then this might have been some type of test run and they
were unlucky victims. But I think investigating their apartment
would be the next step just to be sure they weren't important
people."

Div followed and looked over her shoulder at the IDs. "Hmm,
well if they were important, they definitely weren't important
to anyone of stature. The apartments nera this address are
pretty low-end." He then took a look at the tickets. "Unless the
play was extremely long, it looks like it started over four
hours ago. Those things are usually about two hours, so unless
they were walking all the way from there, I'm guessing they were
here for quite some time."
He turned and thought for a moment more. "Here's an even bigger
question though." He turned back to Thea with an inquisitive
look in his eye. "Why does she have both of the IDs? Even if he
ran off somewhere, you'd think he'd have it with him, right?" He
paused as the natural silence of slowed time started to get to
him. in the distance.
"Anyway, we should get going. Probably don't wanna hang around
here too long and let the cops do their jobs." He started to
take a step when he just realized something.
"oh, and Thea," he slowly pointed to the IDs she was holding.
"Those have your prints all over them now, so you might want to
do something about that."

"Well might've been date night, dinner movie then a romantic
walk in the park before home. Who knows either way she's dead
and he probably is too." she said turning the cards over. "Yeah
that's a good question, makes me wonder what he was carrying
around." sighing she figured he was right and began wiping the
cards off with her shirt while heading over to the cops. "We'll
go find Vice, he might've found something of interest." still
holding it with her shirt she slid the id's into the cops hand
and headed back over to Div.

As the others investigated, vice had come across tracks. The
prints seemed to be humanoid and over lapped each other as if
chasing something in a pack. "Whatever it was that did
this....there's more than one." he mutters to himself and
examines the tracks "one...two......three? No four" he traces
the steps back and ends up coming across the body of a man. Or
at least whats left of a man. A soldier kneels over the body,
frozen in time. Vice searches the body but finds nothing. He
heads back to the two. "Found the guy but je didnt have anything
on him. How did your search go?"

Thea took out her phone and found a picture of the guys id "If
he looked like this then that would be our victims husband." She
said and handed the phone to Vice.
"Not much on our end just where she was before the attack,
address and more questions. Div found a piece of the creatures
claw." She explained with a soft sigh. Thea opened her purse and
took out a bag of sour worms. "Did toy find anything on our
mystery animal?"she asked.

Vice looks at the picture and nods "thats him.....i guess we
should see if there is any correlation between the the attack
and the victims or was i just back luck amd timing." he looks at
his phone to check the time and sighs "im not sure what the
creature was but it was humanoid. And at least a half dozen at
the most. The time stop should be wearing off in a bit, i
suggest we move on from here. Meet me at the club tomorrow
after your shift." he looks at div unsure of where he stood. "I
suppose you're already a part of this, if you happen to want to
finish this, meet us here around 11 pm" he hands him the
business card to the shade club.
