"M-maam!! You cant go in there!!" he says, a little flustered by
her actions. He chases after her into the bush
A ways into the bush one of the officers was checking over the
body of a dead woman. Flesh was torn from her limbs, her abdomen
was torn completely open amd missing a few vital organs. If one
was good at seeing details they would notice the wounds were
consistent with claw and bite marks.
The officer called in for back up and a meat wagon. At the sight
the young man clicked his teeth in disappoint "what could do
such a thing?"

Thea stopped beside the other officers and knelt down carefully
near the corpse. "Again a little late to stop me." She flicked
the safety back on her gun and examined the body. " might be
some type of animal attack...but nothing is this area should be
capable of that." She took out her phone and began taking
pictures.
Thea took notice of the woman's wedding ring and frowned. "Do
you guys have any gloves, she's got a wedding ring so you might
to I.D her to inform family." She stood and looked out into the
trees.

Div sat in his one-room apartment relaxing on the couch.
Everything was perfect. Plus since his apartment overlooked the
park, he didn't have to worry about lots of noise. Nothing like
a quiet evening after such an odd day. To think he had actually
met an Extreme, well he was PRETTY SURE she was an Extreme even
though she didn't say so out loud. (See Drunk and Sober).
he was just about to doze off when he heard a muffled scream and
a minute later, police sirens. Well, so much for not having to
worry about noise. he thought to himself.
He reluctantly got up to see what was going on through the
window. he looked passed his tanned completion to see some men
standing in the grass near the entrance of the park. "well,
looks like they can handle it." he said. He was about to turn
back when he saw another figure run up to them. He couldn't be
sure, but he swore that she was the girl from the cafe.
"Wow, talk about a small town."
he continued to watch as a conversation seemed to take place.
Whatever the girl said, the men didn't seem to appreciate it. He
then saw her pull out a gun and walk off into the trees.
This bothered him just a bit. Part of him wanted to go
investigate himself, but another part thought it would be better
to stay out of it..
He stepped back from the windowand thought for a moment.
"Hm I better go see if those guys need some help."
He went down and walked outside with a light jacket on.
He approached the men that were still thre.
"Hey, everything okay?"

The young man sighed and rubbed his forehead. "For a civilian
youre disrespecting my authority an awful lot. Could you please
put your phone away at least. Unauthorized photos cant be
taken."
The officer inspecting the body turned on a dime with his gun at
the ready as div entered the park area.
"For the love of-.....sir" his patience was growing thin. He
took a deep breath and calmed down. He opened his mouth to speak
but nothing came out. Even his actions seemed halted, as if
frozen in time.
"Man oh man.....you know if this had been someone else from the
patriots...it wouldn't have been so pleasant." dark voice echoed
around to the only ones still in control of themselves, div and
thea.

She tensed up as the area around them froze, thinking it was
once again Mona she managed to relax slightly when the voice
that spoke was male. Thea slid her phone into her pocket and
stood up "Probably but I make it my job to slip away from sticky
situations with as much info as possible." she said easily and
turned to face Dark. She briefly caught sight of Div and a bit
of confusion entered her face as she recognized him.

Div tried to search out the voice, fully aware that something
was amiss.. He thought he recognized it from somewhere, but
couldn't quite remember where. But he KNEW he'd heard that voice
somewhere recently. He decided to turn his attention to Thea
when she spoke to the voice.
He decided it was time he cut in. "So, you normally go around
investigating crime scenes like this?" he asked,
semi-sarcastically.

Dark was sitting on the branch of a tree, peeling an orange. " i
do believe i was informed of this" he smiles and motions for her
to look. Vice stood there next to the time frozen young man.
"Trouble....pure trouble" he says and crosses his massive arms.
Dark chuckles softly and finishes peeling his orange " To answer
your question.....Div, i believe it was? Yes....yes she does.
She apparently doesnt realize that curiosity killed the cat" he
says and eats an orange slice. "I have pressing places to be,
and devastating things to do so ill leave time stopped for a
while so you all can investigate without being patronized about
gun licenses amd being civilians.....sounds like a plan?" he ask
them.

She jumped at the sound of Vice's voice but relaxed and shot him
a smile. "It's not like I planned to get in trouble tonight."
she teased and with a careless shrug she turned back to Dark
"Thank you sir, that'll help out since whatever did this isn't
of a natural source." she said. Thea turned to look at Div and
crossed her arms "If you're not going to be of use then you can
leave." with that said she knelt back down next to the body.

Ah! NOW he remembered. That was the guy who cut in on his
conversation with strawberry girl from the bar. He wasn't going
to let that get under his skin... too much.
"Hm." he said in responec to Dark's comments. He turned to the
body on the ground and peered over it. "Looks like it was ut
with some kind of curved blades... or maybe..." he knelt down
next to Thea. "really big claws?"
He had an idea, but he wanted to make sure of something first.
"Hey uh... what was your name again?" he asked turning towards
Thea. "Also, what did you find already?"

"Welp.....tata" and with that he was gone. " i guess ill look
around" vice said and made his way further through the bush.
Embedded in a wound near her neck was what seemed to be a broken
piece of claw. The piece was thick and pearl colored around the
tip and an ash color around the break.
