flit under the radar and use more human skills to gather
information or steal things." she shrugged and stuck the
toothpick back in his mouth. "So he's [i]the Dark, huh not what

Vice nodded and crossed his arms "thats understandable, not
everyones calling is a frontline warrior." he fiddles with the
toothpick a little before seeming content with it. He gives a
grunt of satisfaction and sits back down. "Hes not what youd
expect...but i think thats a good thing"

Thea shrugged "I guess... at least he's somewhat likable" she
suddenly grinned and crawled over the seat to fall in his lap.
"Besides could you see lil ol me out there fighting battles. I'm
a delicate flower."

"Think I should let Darrick know I now know who he is and that I
have powers?" she asked, letting her head rest against his
shoulder. "It'd probably be wise but its not like I can use my
powers anyways."

"that's all?" he asked with a smirk "all you need is a little
training and you'll be fine. Join us and you'll get that
training" even if she didn't join, he still would give her the
training...no one should live in fear of themselves.
Ego made his way back to them, still skipping with a happy look
on his face, until he saw Vice and Thea hugged up. He nearly
trips over his own foot but catches his balance just as he
reaches them "A-AND HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN A THING! YOU KNEW I
WAS GOING TO ASK HER OUT VICE!". Vice quickly stands and grabs
Ego's mouth to shut him up "1. you go after every girl you see,
you're a hound dog, 2. I never asked her out, we were just
talking about "business.......and 3." He looks back at her and
then to Ego before leaning into ear shot and whispering "Don't
be angry cuz you're not the sexiest guy in sight anymore" Ego
began to flail at the last words and threw meaningless punches
and kicks at Vice which missed by miles. He yells muffled curses
behind Vices grip and continues fighting. Vice sighs and looks
back at her "Sometimes I don't understand why people would want
a brother."

Her cheeks reddened a bit at his outburst. "Poor dear I didn't
mean to make you jealous." She teased and slid out of the booth.
"I'll think about what you said Vice but it's probably a yes."
She began fixing her hair to pull back into a ponytail.
"I better get back to the bar but you two play nice." She poked
Egos chest. "And you don't go causing scenes it's bad for
business."

Vice was smirking until Ego bit his hand. he mutters a curse and
checks to see if he was bleeding. " Yeah, we'll be here Thea" he
says after seeing that his hand was okay. "only little girls
bite, Ego" he tells him and shoves him. "DON'T EITHER OF YOU
TOUCH ME" Ego hisses at her as she walks past. Vice shakes his
head and wraps an arm around him " LET ME GO, YOU'RE NOT MY
BRO..YOU...YOU......i'm so mad I can't think of anything" Vice
laughs and the two disappear into the crowd.
