Tending Bar

Thea wound her way through the crowded club and managed to find
an empty booth in the back. With a relived sigh she stretched
out on the leather seat and pushed her bangs out her face. She
sat up for a moment to pull her hair down from its usual
ponytail, laying back down she shut her eyes and tapped her
fingers to the loud, pounding beat of the clubs music. She
thought about her earlier encounter and frowned, "Such a weird
girl, wonder what she really wanted beneath all that cryptic
bs..." she sighed softly and decided to put it out of her mind
as she enjoyed her break from bar tending.

Ten minutes into her break a gentleman dressed in a black slacks
and vest walked up to the booth. He wore a shirt under the vest
that glowed under the light. He runs a hand through his short
cropped blonde hair and sighs loudly to get her attention. His
name was Kaiser but everyone called him Ego, he was one of the
clubs managers.

Thea kept her eyes shut wondering if she'd ignore him it'd make
him leave. "If you leave me to the booth I swear there's a free
strawberry cake in it for you." She said, peeking up at him with
one dark blue eye.

At that she sat up and smiled " Of course not sir." She said and
straightened her top. "What did you need because again there's a
cake at stake."

Ego thought about the risk.....he does love cake....but then
again he loves messing with her more. "You almost had me
there.....almost. Anyways i just figured your break wouldnt be
complete until youve conversated with your handsome intelligent
club manager "

She groaned softly, really hoping he'd take the cake deal. "Fine
the faster you pester the faster I can lay back down." she
smiled and rested her chin on her hand. "It's unfortunate
because I'd probably enjoy speaking with a handsome intelligent
manager but sadly there's only you in front of me."

Ego nearly fell over at the insult "ill let you know that ive
been voted sexiest male staff for the last six months" he
crosses his arms in confidence

"Were you now?" she asked with fake surprise. "I declined on
that voting and I'm pretty sure you were the only one running
and we did it to pacify you." she smirked and shook her head.
"Sir you really aren't earning that cake."

"Darrick wouldnt let you do such a thing to me...." he says
aloud ".....then again this is darrick were speaking of....." he
thought about ot a little more and shook his fist at the air
"DAMN YOU DARRICK!!" he yells and falls to his knees "im not
winning cake, apparently my title as sexiest male staff is but a
facade......i am defeated "
