Lunch Thoughts [roof, open]

The air was crisp and stormy clowys billowed I. The distance.
The air was a touch cool, but Lya liked it like that. She sat
in the edge of the roof a boxed lunch on her lap. She often ate
lunch away from the other students, especially when she needed
to think. Today was definitely one of those days. She was
still milling over what Darrick had said last night. She popped
a raspberry in her mouth as the thought.

Indi was mere seconds from rampaging across the school grounds.
Today was her first day in school since moving and already she
was having problems. Things hadn't gone as smoothly as she
wanted and for the first time, money was an issue. Before she
had officially left home that faithful day, she'd broken into
her fathers safe and stole a backpacks worth of cash. Now with
everything after buying a new home, cloths, and enrolling in
school, she hardly had enough for food. And guess what happens
as she goes to eat? Some student bumps her desk hard enough to
knock her bento box to the floor.
Now said boy was quite literally sobbing as Indi drug his body
up several flights of stairs towards the roof. She'd teach him
to f*ck around, she thought viciously. Busting the doors to the
roof open, the boys cries increased in volume. Indi, caught up
in her rage, ignored the presence of the other person on the
roof.
"Wanna see if you can fly just as good as you walk?!" She cooed
threateningly as she pulled the boy up by his collar, lifting
him from the ground as she walked towards the roof railing.

The silence she loved the roof for was abruptly broken by the
sound of slamming doors and screaming Generally intending to
ignore most passerbys she couldn't necessarily ignore the cries.
The crimson eyed girl on the roof sighed and put her lunch
down next to her.
Pulling herself to a standing position and turned to face the
two. She crossed her arms with a look of irritation, the breeze
blowing her bangs across her face. [I]"I'm
not sure what jettisoning him from the roof would accomplish not
what he did to deserve such a thing"

Indi's eye twitched in irritation as she stopped moving, turning
to see some girl across the roof, looking none to happy. Another
growl rose in her throat as she cocked her hip to the side,
tilting her head back and sneering at her down the bridge of her
nose. "Ehhhhh? Obviously, her learn a very valuable lesson in
not being an IMBECILE!" she spat as the boy hanging from her
fist wailed, looking down and only seeing the ground far, far
below him. "Who the hell are you anyway?!"

Not too far away, in the school grounds, a young man was making
a "transaction" with a few students.
"you kids have a good time now. If anyone ask who hooked you up,
tell em VooDoo did" Voodoo pats them on there heads and walks
away.
"Whats with that guy? talking to us like that....He's only a
year older than us!" One of them chided as they walked away.
As Voodoo walks away something tells him to look up and low and
behold....someone was being dangled from the roof. Many would
panic or even call the authorities but not Voodoo. He takes a
seat on the ground and watches "Drop him already!" Voodoo yells
"wait..can't I get to the roof from here" He mumbles to himself
and decides to find out. He makes his way through the building
and finally finds his way to the roof "hope he didn't drop
already" he mumbles as he burst through the door. He looks at
the two girls and says nothing. He quietly takes a seat near the
door and watches with an amused smile on his face.

Lya sighed and rested a hand on her hip.
[I]"I didn't know that had become a capital offense. What
precisely did he do to anger you so.". She took a few
steps forward, her hand twitching on her waist. She didn't much
like using her abilities in public, but she also didn't care
much for the idea of being at a crime scene. As the other
presence made itself known Lya promptly ignored him and stayed
focused on the girl. She was now close enough to touch the
girls arm if she extended her hand if she needed to.
[I]"I'm nobody of importance, just a
bystander who doesn't need to be caught up in the aftermath."
