A moment of clam

The park was silent with the occasional bird chirp being the
only sound, the parents who would have brought their children
been left to start dinner. The sky was a beautiful mixture of
pinks and oranges, a cool breeze was in the air. This was
Light's favorite time of day, the day almost over but night
haven't started yet.
Light collapsed onto a bench with a heavy sigh, his eyes closed
as he took in the silence. He wear a black tank top and white
sweatpants. The parts of his body visible had a shine to them
from the sweat that still cling to his body.

Maya was walking through the park peaceful. She was almost
dazzed. She stopped before she reeached the bench that light was
on. "Oh god why is he here" she whispered to herself.

"So much for being alone with my thoughts.." came Lights voice,
loud enough for both of them to hear." It's always work so why
change now..." He said as he stood up and stretched and looked
at them. His face fell into his natural impassive stare.

Dark tipped his hat up and sneered at Light. Dark tried to
find...."kind" words to say "........." He heard that if you
dont have nothing nice to say, dont say nothing at all.
