The scene was so implausible Lya just stared for a silent
moment. Darrick's demeanor had shifted faster than she could
have possibly imagined. After a moment she waved both hands in
font of herself slightly flustered. [Color=mediumpurple] [I]"No,
no. That's not what happened. The meaning was not to say you
were interrupting my alone tie. It was more a stance on my life
in general over the last year. I can honestly say, I didn't
choose to have "being alone" be part of my life. It was kind of
thrust on me."[/color]. She paused for a moment looking away.
The words hinting at her past, her now....had just come pouring
out in her flustered state.

He peeks from behind his hat and his eyes shift from an emerald
green to a sapphire blue with a gleam. "If you want to talk
about it..." his attitude quickly turns to peppy. He snaps his
fingers four times again and throws his hat onto his head " how
about this....you ask me a question which i have to answer
truthfully....then ill ask you a question. How about it?" he
smiled gently. It was almost warming.

A sly smile settled over the girls lips at the proposition. She
gave a nod as she watched the young man's eyes shift colors.

asking for you name. Tell me who you are...you have a different
air around you than most."

He crosses his arms in thought "What do you know about the
balance test?"

learned young that beating around the bush doesn't always end
well. [/color]. At his question she raised an eyebrow and pursed
her lips in thought. [Color=mediumpurple] [I]"I know a little.
I know there are three outcomes essentially. It's a test you
take when you are 15.....So theoretically last year for me. Or
it should have been if I were to take it. Granted it wasn't in
the cards for the last year."

She have a small laugh, [I]"Sorry at my reactions, they aren't
always what you would expect.". At Darrick's question the color
drained slightly from her face, she bit her lip and exhaled
sharply. She had promised to tell the truth and she would, but
it wasn't easy. [Color=mediumpurple] [I]"I guess I should have
seen this question coming. Alone is a standard because that's
what I've been for over a year now, maybe even longer in truth.
My father was a kind man, but he was used by others, and by
proxy I became his tool. But people often grow tired of others
use after a while..... My parents were killed over a year ago,
before my 15th birthday.... I came home to find them....and
their killer..... I've been alone ever since."

"I am sorry to hear that.....no one should be a tool. THATS
something i know all too well." dark sighs and looks at the now
set sun. "Wait....seeing as your not dead....youre either a
really good killer.....or" his eyes lit up with excitement. The
blue shined with renewed vigor. " you said earlier that you
should have taken the test!....YOU HAVE POWERS!" he said
excitedly and snapped his fingers four times again.
