       Ability or Abilities:
       Emotion Manipulation - Lya has the ability to manipulate the
       emotions of others.  She can amplify, nulify, dampen, give and
       take emotions.  However in order to do so she must physically
       touch the person to initiate the manipulation.  She must also
       take any displaced emotion onto herself.  During this she tends
       to become unstable depending on the strength of the emotion.  In
       order to give an emotion it must also come from her.  All
       emotional manipulations have a limited duration.
       Memory manipulation -  Lya can also manipulate others memories.
       Whether this be implaning false ones, modifying existing ones,
       removing memories, or strengthening a memory.  These powers work
       similar to the emotion control abilities, in she must physically
       touch someone to trigger them.  The stronger the memory she is
       interacting with the more it takes out of her.
       Bio:
       Lya was born the only child to a caring mother and father.  It
       was always said she inherited her mother's looks and her
       father's attitude.  Through her early childhood her life was
       picturesque, nothing more could have been asked for.
       Her powers began to manifest around the time she was 8.  Around
       this same time her father's business began to go south.  In
       order to keep things afloat, he turned to backroom dealings.  As
       he sank deeper and deeper into darkness, his new associates
       learned of the girls abilities.  It was then they began
       blackmailing Lya's father for the use of her abilities.  For the
       next 7 years it was a constant abuse if her powers by those she
       didn't know, but still she put up with it because her father
       asked.  Often she lost herself for a time in her abilities, but
       still she tried.
       Last year the men who used her and her father grew tired of the
       man.  One day Lya came home to a blood stained door.  Upon
       entering she saw the last moments of her mothers and father's
       life.  His assailant still there got the full brunt of the girls
       rage as she heightened his fear to leathal levels.  After that
       she turned and left the house never to look back, now seeking a
       place to belong.

       cats, following her own path, disrupting others emotions and
       memories
