       I highly recommend this book for prepping. I have successfully
       used it for decades:
       Make the Best of Basics: Family Preparedeness Handbook by James
       Talmage Stevens
       Just perform an internet search for it. You can find it from
       several resources. As of this posting, amazon only had one copy
       available but eBay had quite a few.
