I really liked this episode more for the ending than the actual
episode itself because of the fact that Doc and Rebecca are
starting to piece things together about Hauser keeping secrets
from them, especially about Lucy and her past involvement with
the '63. Probably my favorite scene in the entire episode was
when Porter was put back into Gen-Pop and the Inmates were
yelling at the Warden to not let Porter have a cell on their
block because his Violin would keep them up at nights. So what
does Porter do? He begins to play, shutting them all up and
getting applause at the end. Ha. Awesome.
Most interesting reveal at the end is that Porter's blood is
enough to revive Lucy from her Coma. Very curious to see if his
blood/DNA will have any effect on her in a negative way, like if
she becomes homicidal like he is.

Although I liked this episode, particularly the character of
Garrett Stillman, it doesn't instill confidence in me that the
Season Finale episode is going to give us that big "what the f
u c k " moment I have been waiting for. As much as the creators
of the show have tried to hype this up as being on par with
LOST, it's not. Right now, Alcatraz is just an "okay" series,
but it's certainly not "must-see TV". It doesn't help that they
killed off Garrett Stillman at the end of the episode. So, there
goes a cool character...............

I thought the episode was good. Entertaining. But the ending,
the big reveal just didn't have that 'wow' factor for me. So,
they are able to track the Inmates with the lead that has been
injected into them? Yeah? So. That's just an earlier version of
the Ankle Bracelet for prisoners. I wanted something a bit more
revealing. I spent th entire season, patiently waiting and they
really didn't deliver on the promise they have been hinting at
all season. The big cliffhanger at the end is that Rebecca dies
on the operating table from injuries sustained at the hands of
her Grandfather Tommy Madsen. She's not dead. Not for long
anyway. It's gonna be up to Ray to track down Tommy and convince
him to go to the hospital and have him give her a blood
transfusion to save her. That's what the Season 2 premiere
episode will be about.

Yeah, I enjoyed this show a lot, and it appeared to have a lot
of places to go. I am sad to see it cancelled.

I think shows like this, well actually any show that gets a full
season pickup, should be required to shoot a wrap up episode
that ties these loose ends up. If the show is cancelled, air it.
If it gets another season, then use the existing footage as a
flashback in the new season. It's b u l l s h i t that we
invest our time into these shows to get f u c k e d over at
the end.
