       Robin Gibb R.I.P.

       Robin Hugh Gibb, CBE (22 December 1949 – 20 May 2012) was a
       British singer and songwriter. He is best known as a member of
       the Bee Gees, co-founded with his twin brother Maurice and older
       brother Barry. He had another younger brother, Andy Gibb, who
       was also a very popular singer.
       From multiple sources today: One of the three Bee Gees has died.
       Robin Gibb was 62 years old, and was diagnosed two years ago
       with colon and liver cancer that responded to treatment, then
       returned and spread.
       "The family of Robin Gibb, of the Bee Gees, announce with great
       sadness that Robin passed away today following his long battle
       with cancer and intestinal surgery," reads a statement from his
       spokesperson. "The family have asked that their privacy is
       respected at this very difficult time."

       I was hoping he'd pull through, but the odds were against it.
       He's been sick for a while now.
       RIP.
